    I stayed on the club...

    I stayed on the club lounge floor with my daughter. We enjoyed sweets and light snacks in the lounge, and she was delighted to be able to swim in the pool for the first time in a while. Since I can’t swim, I enjoyed water walking and the jacuzzi. For breakfast, we had a sushi set, which was very delicious. As it was my birthday month, the Hotel also gave me some sweets as a gift, which made me very happy. It washed away a year’s fatigue, and I can welcome the new year with renewed energy.

    A Prenatal Indulgence

    As a final treat during my pregnancy, I made a Reservation with a Plan that includes lounge access. It was close to Daiba Station, which was very helpful for me while pregnant. Also, since I informed them in advance, they prepared decaffeinated tea and coffee in the Room, which I really appreciated. Relaxing in an ocean-view Room and enjoying cakes and light snacks in the lounge made for a truly fulfilling stay.

    Room noise, and the Facility feels worn out for a property opened in 2016.

    I stayed in an Executive Room on the 25th floor. The lounge on the 2nd floor had an excellent selection of drinks, which raised my expectations for the stay, but in the Room, neither the TV nor the internet worked. During the night and early morning, I was woken by unsettling banging noises from upstairs, which ruined what I had been looking forward to. The complimentary sports club and spa for Executive Room guests was excellent, but since it opens too late in the morning (7:30), it may draw complaints from international guests. It was disappointing, especially because all of the Hotel staff were wonderful.

    We had a wonderful Saturday morning.

    We stayed here after a concert at Zepp. At check-in, the front desk suggested an upgrade for an additional fee, so we chose a Room on the Rainbow Bridge side—and it was absolutely the right choice. My wife was delighted with the Room’s atmosphere, the view, and the amenities. In the morning we enjoyed the buffet; items like omelets and French toast from the live kitchen were delicious. It also seemed that flight attendants from various international airlines were staying here, which gave us a bit of an international vibe even while in Japan—a nice touch. If we have another chance to stay in Odaiba, we would love to stay here again.

    Odaiba Night View

    We stayed here for a family trip. The night view from the Room was amazing! Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed it at a relaxed pace on the top floor while taking in views of Mt. Fuji and the Rainbow Bridge. With an 11:00 check-out, we could take our time, and it made for a very satisfying trip. We would love to stay again!

    A disappointing dinner ruined an otherwise enjoyable stay.

    I think it used to be a different Hotel, and it seems to have aged over the years. I stayed in a deluxe room, but the shower booth and bathtub were separated and not very user-friendly. I also used the Garden Dining restaurant, but the crab at the crab fair was freezer-burned—dry, hollow, and turned brown. I couldn’t believe they would serve something like that in a restaurant, and it left me very upset. Honestly, it was at a level where I didn’t feel like paying for it; rather, I felt they shouldn’t be charging money for that at all.

    Club Floor Access

    This was my sixth stay. With Club Floor access, I can use the pool and sauna, and there is also tea time and free-flow drinks, making it one of my favorite Hotels. Highly recommended.

    Excellent value for money

    Three women stayed in a Room with lounge access. The Room was spacious, and there was a great selection of welcome drinks. However, the sink is located between the shower room and the bathtub, so it’s inconvenient when trying to use them at the same time. The lounge was not crowded, so we could relax there at any time. During cocktail hour, we enjoyed details like four different beer taps and cocktail recipes with suggested ratios. Excellent value for money. It would be perfect if there were a large public bath too (lol).

    The views are stunning.

    This was my first stay. The night view from the 20th-floor Room on the Rainbow Bridge side was stunning and truly impressive. The Room was also spacious, with enough space for suitcases, and had a very practical layout. However, there were few maps or signs from Yurikamome Odaiba Station to the Hotel, so it was a bit confusing to find.

    We thoroughly enjoyed Odaiba.

    I traveled there by train and bus, and it was very smooth. I stayed for two nights, and I appreciated the well-stocked complimentary amenities such as mineral water and tea. The staff’s service was also excellent.

    Exceeded expectations!

    The club lounge was spacious and had sofa seating, which was great since we had a toddler. From 5:00 PM, the cocktail time offered a good variety of food; the burger-style items were delicious and could easily serve as dinner. They also arranged our Room on the Bay Bridge side, which made our child very happy. We would like to stay again.

    It was comfortable.

    It was convenient with direct access to the Yurikamome station. Our Room did not have a view of the Bay Bridge, but we enjoyed a nice ocean view that felt open and spacious. The shower was a bit difficult to use, especially when adjusting the temperature. The breakfast buffet was not particularly luxurious, but it had a good variety and tasted great. Overall, the Hotel staff were courteous and attentive.

    Crowded

    It couldn’t be helped due to the holiday period, but there were many empty dishes at the breakfast buffet. Since the Hotel is likely used to this, I hope they can ensure guests are fully satisfied and make the most of their trip.

    Anniversary

    After a wonderful stay with my child last time, we returned as a couple. Since it was a one-night stay spanning a public holiday into a weekday, the lounge was never crowded and always had a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were kind and friendly, and we had an enjoyable time. The Room was clean and comfortably sized, and the compact bathroom was very practical and relaxing. From the window we could see Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower, and Tokyo Skytree, enjoying beautiful views both day and night. At breakfast, we enjoyed delicious food in a quiet setting while taking in scenery different from our Room. Thank you for two fulfilling days.

    You’ll regret staying here.

    I stayed for two nights with a Reservation. I was told they would call me in 10 minutes once the Room was ready, but nothing happened. After I contacted the front desk again, the check-in process finally started. I took the Room key to my door, but I couldn’t enter—the key didn’t work. The front desk was not busy. Both the air conditioner and hair dryer in the Room had filters completely clogged with dust. The air conditioner barely worked. When I noticed trash in the Room and looked up, it turned out to be dust falling from the air conditioner. The hair dryer was unusable, so I used one I brought from home instead. When I lifted the bed runner, there were shockingly long hairs visible on it, and part of the sheet was tucked in with them. It was disgusting, so I removed it myself. There was a water leak at the shower head connection. I had to tighten it every time before using it. I used the first-floor breakfast area on both days. On day 1, the coffee machine was broken. I saw staff checking its operation right beforehand, which made it even stranger that it was left as-is. On day 2, while I was still eating, everything on my table was cleared away during a brief moment when I stepped away. No napkin had been left on my table to indicate anything. Even when I returned to my seat, there was no apology—they were clearing the next table instead. At this Hotel, staff never offered even a single apology. It also surprised me that they either made excuses or laughed it off. I planned to rest before checking out but decided not to. I think other Business Hotels are far better. It may be that you can only receive decent service if you make a Reservation for an executive floor. The attached salon is not good at kimono dressing. The obi pillow was clearly visible; when they finished and I checked in the mirror, I was stunned. When I pointed it out, it felt like they didn’t understand how to use an obiage properly. The hair styling itself was satisfactory, but for kimono dressing you’re better off doing it yourself. Even though they handle weddings here, their kimono-dressing staff needs retraining.

    A Disappointing Birthday

    Stayed on the Executive Floor for a family member's birthday. Since the guest of honor enjoys alcohol and is usually very busy, we planned this stay to let them relax and enjoy the lounge. However, one male hotel staff member in the lounge made an insensitive comment directly to the birthday guest, which made them uncomfortable and led us to leave early. It’s unclear whether he intended it as a joke or was trying to be friendly, but it came across as condescending and unpleasant. Since that day, I’ve regretted not addressing this issue with the hotel directly at that moment. The view was great, the room was clean, and the food was delicious. Most of the other staff were incredibly kind and professional, which makes this incident all the more disappointing.

    Take your time.

    I had a relaxing year-end stay. The Plan for solo travelers is very appreciated. The lounge meals are also excellent. The 1 PM checkout time was great.

    Satisfaction

    Stayed twice last year and had a great experience, so we visited again as a family to celebrate my birthday. We reserved two twin rooms, but they kindly provided us with connecting rooms, which enhanced the sense of togetherness for our family trip. The view from the 27th floor was stunning, with beautiful night scenery of Kawasaki's industrial area and even Mount Fuji visible. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the complimentary drinks in the fridge were much appreciated. We always look forward to enjoying the food at the Executive Lounge. However, it was quite crowded this time with long waiting times. Perhaps implementing time limits during peak hours could help manage this better since many people stayed seated playing on their phones even after finishing their meals. At checkout, I received a birthday gift unexpectedly as I hadn’t mentioned it beforehand—it was such a delightful surprise! Thank you very much. Overall very satisfied and plan to visit again!

    Is this what Grand Nikko feels like?

    I decided to take a break from work and relax while enjoying the Bay Area's evening view. However, at the reception, despite no one waiting, I was directed to a winding queue path with no other guests (why?), and when I finally reached the counter, the receptionist greeted me without a smile, more like a bureaucrat than a Hotel staff member. Feeling unwelcome, I entered my Room which gave off an impression of an old-fashioned city hotel format from decades ago. While it had a classic charm, I wished there had been at least bathrobes provided. Using the discount ticket I received, I visited the bar where the night view was stunning. However, there were no staff stationed at the entrance; as I wandered inside awkwardly with three staff members glancing my way but not greeting me or saying "welcome," it reinforced my feeling of being unwelcome and led me to leave immediately. I thought this was supposed to be quite a reputable Hotel but left wondering if perhaps as a guest I didn’t meet their standards or if this is just how Grand Nikko operates after all.

    Accommodation to Enjoy the Executive Floor

    I used the special year-end and New Year executive floor plan. Since it was the middle of a three-day weekend, the executive lounge was slightly crowded, but I went early anticipating this, so it wasn't an issue. The service, including the lounge, was excellent, and I especially enjoyed cocktail time to my heart's content. Although I initially planned to have dinner elsewhere, the offerings in the lounge were so fulfilling that I felt completely satisfied. I reserved a room without a Rainbow Bridge view but was upgraded to one with a perfect Rainbow Bridge view, which made me very happy. For breakfast, I enjoyed a semi-buffet on the top floor with great views from my seat—it was wonderful. Overall, it was an extremely satisfying stay. I'll definitely use this accommodation again!

    The room was different from the reservation.

    Stayed for a birthday celebration, but couldn't see the Rainbow Bridge and was placed on a lower floor, which was disappointing! Have stayed at this hotel many times, but this time was quite disappointing!

    I stayed on the Exec...

    I stayed on the Executive Floor, but it was quite crowded and a bit tiring. The staff at the Executive Lounge were mixed; while many of the male staff were attentive, some female staff seemed unorganized, especially during busy times, with inconsistent guidance. There were even groups who turned back disappointedly saying, "We couldn't use the lounge despite staying on the Executive Floor." It would be great if the guide at the entrance could be more efficient and provide clear and equal explanations to everyone. I've visited various club lounges before, and in other hotels, even when it's crowded, they handle situations flexibly with clear instructions for waiting turns—so I never felt frustrated. Breakfast was held in The Grill on 30th along with guests from general floors, which resulted in nearly an hour-long wait. For those who don't want to wait in line, I recommend opting for sushi or room service instead. Even during my previous weekday stay there was a queue for breakfast—it seems that the restaurant itself is relatively small. That said, I must mention that cocktail time dishes, cakes during café time, and breakfast were all delicious! Overall I was satisfied with this stay considering its price point. I’d like to visit again during weekdays or when there are fewer guests staying.

    The location was excellent.

    Stayed here for the first time in over a decade, based on my previous impression. The location and convenience of public transportation remain excellent. However, the facility shows signs of aging, particularly in the bathroom where tiles were dirty and the sink's coating was peeling. Dust was also noticeable in some areas. On a positive note, the staff provided great service.
