    It was a wonderful experience.

    I wanted to stay at Okura, so I chose it for my stay in Fukuoka. The room was lovely. The breakfast I decided to add was a great experience, both in terms of the space and the meal.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    This is my third stay at Hotel Okura Fukuoka. I am satisfied with my stay at the hotel every time. What was disappointing is that the breakfast service method is changing. It has become a complete buffet (I am very grateful that coffee and tea are served at each table). I understand that it must be difficult to secure staff and that the number of tourists seems to be increasing, so it can't be helped. I would like to stay at Hotel Okura Fukuoka again next time. Thank you very much.

    The usual peace of mind

    I have been staying here for the past few years. No matter when I visit, I always receive the same level of service. Just one thing: if there is a renovation next time, I would like the washbasin to be improved. Even when used carefully, it ends up getting waterlogged.

    As expected of Okura.

    We stayed for one night as a couple in Fukuoka, and the service from the front desk and other staff was truly what you would expect from Okura. Recently, luxury hotels have been increasing even in regional areas, but often the level of staff does not keep up. In this regard, not only in Okura Tokyo but also in Kyoto and here in Fukuoka, the excellent service from the staff satisfies guests and provides a sense of security. It was indeed impressive. My wife was also satisfied with the comfortable stay.

    I understand you are busy, but

    I wish the cleaning had been a bit more thorough. The building itself is old, but the access is excellent. It has a name and history, but dust is noticeable in places. It would be understandable if it were in less visible areas (like on top of the TV), but the lamp and telephone stand are covered in dust. The accessory box, in particular, stands out because its original color is black. (I suspect it hasn't been cleaned for a long time.) There may be a shortage of staff and limited time, but I think at least the most noticeable areas should be addressed. My evaluation this time is lenient. I rarely write reviews, but since the porter and front desk staff were good, I felt it was a shame and decided to write this.

    I stayed with a friend to celebrate my birthday. Even though my birthday was the day before, there was a message card and cookies in the room. I was delighted by the thoughtful gesture. The hospitality and service are always pleasant and comfortable, no matter when I stay. I look forward to the next opportunity.

    Even though it's my favorite hotel...

    I always use Okura when staying in Fukuoka. This time, I rented a car until check-in, and a little after 2 PM, I drove to the hotel entrance on the Showa-dori side. I wanted to drop off my mother and our luggage before returning the rental car, but there was no one at the entrance. I waited, thinking a staff member might notice, but no one came. Two or three cars wanting to enter the parking lot came up behind us, but they couldn't stop at the car drop-off area. In a hurry, my mother went to call a staff member. Around 2 PM, there should be guests arriving by car, yet there was no apology for the absence of staff. I've thought this before, but for some reason, the staff at this entrance don't greet guests when they come and go, which is not like Okura. *There are no issues with the other entrance side.

    Returning to my regular accommodation

    My business associates left Riverain a few years ago, so I hadn't been here for a while, but I visited again after a long time. The facilities, service, and this relaxing and calm atmosphere are truly unique to Okura. For me, it is still the best hotel in Hakata.

    Long-established inn

    No matter how many times I stay, I never get tired of it. The level of hospitality at Japanese hotels is indeed different. The calm and modest service of the staff is soothing. There are foreign hotels, but in the end, I always come back to Okura. It's directly connected to the station, so you can get there without getting wet even in the rain. I also recommend the craft beer in the basement and the cakes on the first floor.

    Excellent hospitality.

    I often stay at Okura because I like it, and Fukuoka is my favorite. The location is close to the station, and the food is delicious. The service staff, in all dining areas, are kind and respond gently. I was reminded that because it is a large hotel, I can stay with peace of mind and receive the best service. The bellboy was also very kind, which made me happy.

    The staff is truly exceptional.

    I chose this Hotel because it is directly connected to the station, as I am not familiar with the area. I was upgraded to a spacious Room. However, there was a musty smell as soon as I entered. Perhaps it’s a Room that hasn’t been used for a long time? Or maybe an upgrade-only Room? It could also be due to the old Facility and air conditioning. It feels like such a waste because the staff are excellent. The bathroom was extremely small, and I realized that newer Hotels with rain showers and separate washing areas are better in this regard. However, newer places often lack good staff, which makes it feel even more unfortunate here.

    Toilet and bath in the guest room

    I think it's a nice room, but having the toilet and bathroom together is inconvenient. Even as a married couple, we have to be considerate.

    You can reach it from Nakasu-Kawabata Station without getting wet.

    I usually stayed at Hotel Nikko Fukuoka, which I could reach from Hakata Station without getting wet via the underground passage, but I found out that I can also reach Hotel Okura without getting wet from Nakasu-Kawabata Station. From my next visit to Fukuoka, I will be using Hotel Okura! I was able to walk to Marine Messe Fukuoka, and it's also close to Nakasu and Tenjin. I was upgraded to a larger and more comfortable room, but it was unfortunate that the toilet didn't flush well (the paper from the previous use didn't flush properly).

    Unchanging sense of security

    For me, this hotel is my first choice when staying in Fukuoka. Although I sometimes get tempted by new hotels, I always find myself coming back to Okura. It's not that the facilities are particularly good or the location is excellent, but I feel that the staff's subtle attentiveness and smiles provide a sense of security during my stay. Perhaps because it was a Monday, breakfast was moderately crowded, allowing me to enjoy it at a leisurely pace. If I may be greedy, I would be delighted if the curry they used to have could make a comeback.

    Unchanging brand

    As expected, it's Okura-san. After a long time since the pandemic, I used it again and felt that everything, both hardware and software, has evolved. My stay was extremely short due to business use, but I would like to stay again at a leisurely pace. Thank you for taking care of me.

    Convenient location.

    It was convenient because you can get to the airport, JR Hakata Station, and Tenjin Station with a single subway line. However, although the guide says it is directly connected to Nakasu-Kawabata Station, there is another building between the station and the hotel building, and you need to go through the basement of that other building. You can get there without getting wet in the rain, but it feels a bit like a maze the first time you go.

    First time using this hotel. I chose it considering the convenience of transportation. I felt very reassured by the presence of many middle-aged male staff. At the breakfast venue, they were attentive, which I personally found very favorable. The amenities were also well-equipped, and I enjoyed the adjacent art museum, shopping mall, and shopping street using the hotel as a base. I recommend it.

    It was a wonderful trip!

    We used this hotel for our 30th wedding anniversary trip. Thanks to the hotel's thoughtfulness, we were guided to an upgraded room, allowing both my husband and I to relax comfortably. The breakfast featured dishes made with local ingredients, allowing us to fully enjoy Fukuoka. It became a wonderful anniversary, and we express our heartfelt gratitude.

    I felt the spirit of Okura even in Fukuoka.

    This is my second stay at Hotel Okura Fukuoka since last December. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I stayed several times on the club floor of The Okura Tokyo and became hooked on Okura hospitality. The warm hospitality of the staff, the comfort of the rooms that do not feel outdated, the satisfaction of the breakfast, and the excellent location. After all, when I come to Fukuoka, Okura is my only choice. Thank you very much.

    Use for Hakataza performance

    I used this hotel for the first time for a performance at Hakataza. The facilities are old, but they were well-cleaned, so I was able to stay comfortably. There was no room upgrade with the Diamond member benefits, but I was assigned to the top floor. The hotel is connected underground to Hakata Riverain, making it very convenient to get to Hakataza via the underground passage. For meals, I had dinner at Lounge Hakatagawa and breakfast at Camellia. Although Hakatagawa is a lounge, it also offers menu items like pasta and salad, so it was nice to be able to have a meal even after the late performance at Hakataza. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, including Hakata specialties like mizutaki and Hakata ramen, which were very delicious and satisfying. I would like to use this hotel again when I go to Hakataza.

    I often use this hotel when I am on a business trip to Fukuoka. I am always impressed by the pleasant hospitality spirit of the front desk and floor staff.     "Always feels the same."

    I realize that I have been staying here for many years now. And no matter when I visit, this inn always provides the same unchanging service.     The best birthday

    I booked a hotel to see the Spirited Away stage play as a birthday present for my grandchild, and stayed to relax with breakfast included. It was the best experience I've had so far, including the meals. Both my grandchild and daughter were delighted. I would like to stay again when I visit Fukuoka. The staff's service was excellent.
