Thank you for the comfortable time.
I left my luggage before check-in and went to Tenjin. It's very convenient to have a Hotel located in a place where you can walk and enjoy the illuminations in both Nakasu and Tenjin. The next day, I walked through Kawabata Shopping Street to Kushida Shrine. The room, as well as the entire Hotel, was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious with both Japanese and Western options, and the use of good tableware made it feel luxurious. I was very pleased that they provided plenty of good quality vegetables and fruits, even though they are expensive now.

After all, Osai is the best!
This time, we stayed in a slightly better twin, so the Facility and Room, including soundproofing, were great. Also, the hospitality from check-in to check-out was excellent. The breakfast was delicious, and my partner, who usually doesn't eat egg dishes, happily ate the omelet. I was unprepared for not receiving a non-slip mat for the bath. Thank you very much.

The moment I entered...
The moment I entered the lobby at check-in, I strongly noticed the smell of Febreze. Dust in the corners of the Room is quite noticeable. When the sunlight hits, you can see the dust piled up whitely.

I stayed for a piano...
I stayed for a piano concert at Fukuoka Symphony Hall. The hotel staff were very pleasant and made me feel at ease. The room is also clean. The breakfast was delicious, and I wished I could have enjoyed it more leisurely. What concerned me was the smell of the pajamas in the room... The odor of aging around the neck and front chest area was unpleasant. Is it inevitable for the ingrained smell to remain...?

Okura Quality
This is my regular Stays in Fukuoka. I always use it, and I'm impressed by the Okura quality, which truly understands what is expected from a Hotel, such as restrained services and collaboration with Park Valley. What I find amazing is that not only the Japanese staff but also the foreign staff thoroughly embody Okura's service. Hotels are gradually increasing indiscriminately, but I believe that in the end, analog services will make the difference. In Fukuoka, Okura is the only choice without a doubt.

A hotel better than expected

I used it for the first time. It was very smooth with just one subway ride from Hakata. Since I arrived a little early, I left my luggage and explored the area around the Hotel before checking in. A lovely Hotelier with a wonderful smile attended me to my Room, and I took a breather. After that, I wanted to go somewhere, so I asked the concierge in the lobby about how to get to my destination. After checking the map and waiting for about 10 minutes, they printed several ways to get there, including timetables, which was a very thoughtful guide. I was moved by the best smiles and behavior of everyone at the front desk, Hotelier, and concierge. Thank you very much.

As expected of Okura.
I stayed after several years. Above all, the hospitality of the staff was wonderful. Everyone greeted me with a lovely smile, making my stay pleasant. The room was well-cleaned, and the amenities were good, allowing me to relax. The breakfast buffet at Camellia had a wide variety, with a good balance of Hakata specialties and familiar dishes, and it was so delicious that I ended up eating too much. Thank you very much.

I used to stay at this hotel occasionally, and this time I used it because I had business at Kyudai Hospital. It's very quick to get to Kyudai Hospital as it's just one road away. It's been quite a while since my last stay, so I went with the feeling of a new guest, but I was surprised that they remembered I was a previous guest. I was also grateful for the amenities prepared for children. It's inevitable due to the existing structure, but the road from the hotel entrance to the underground parking is very narrow, and it's hard to tell where to park to be close to the hotel lobby. I parked while recalling how it used to be, but this parking lot is incredibly famous and has a lot of big cars parked. Some cars are parked using two spaces, and the width of one space is narrow, which is a bit frustrating. The neighboring Anpan Museum is in a foreign district. And the mall below, Inimini Mamimo, is really empty. Although this is not directly the hotel's responsibility, the hotel itself feels a bit rustic, which is a bit of a shame. I will use it again.

It was comfortable.
Stayed for 3 nights. On the first night, there was a slight "go" sound in the Room, so I informed them the next morning, and they changed the Room for me. It was a quiet twin Room, so I was able to relax. The meals included local specialties, which I enjoyed.

I was able to stay comfortably.
This was my first stay. When I parked in front of the hotel with a rental car and unloaded my luggage, they immediately brought a cart and carried my luggage. The Diamond member benefits, such as room upgrades, drinks, and late check-out, were also good. The room was compact yet functional, and it was the first time I saw a unit bath with a door instead of a curtain. They greeted and guided me when I went out and returned. I think it's a solid hotel. The view from the window was nice, with islands visible. I would like to stay again when I come to Hakata.

No towels available.
The bath towel and face towel were forgotten to be set up, and I realized it after getting into the bath, which was terrible as I was soaking wet.

Conveniently located near the subway
As mentioned in the title, it is conveniently located close to the subway (directly connected, so you won't get wet in the rain), and it's easy to access from the airport, as well as to Hakata and Tenjin. The bathroom had a sliding partition instead of a shower curtain, which provided a sense of security and was great. The shower water pressure was strong, which was also a big plus. While some parts, like the light switches, give a sense of history, I think it's a great Hotel overall. I also love the scent when you enter the Hotel.

Disappointing
I occasionally stay here during business trips, as it is recommended by major companies in Fukuoka. Overall, I have always felt that the charm of this hotel lies in the sense of prestige associated with Okura, especially in terms of customer service. However, this time was a bit different. When I asked for a courier service at the bell desk, a foreign staff member, who seemed unfamiliar with the process of assembling the dedicated box, was still trying their best. Unfortunately, it didn't go well, and I was kept waiting for quite a while. Meanwhile, two Japanese staff members in black uniforms standing nearby were aware of the situation but continued chatting among themselves without offering any help. Feeling disappointed, I ended up giving them a word of caution but decided to abandon the idea of sending the package at that moment. It's not about the staff being foreign, but I felt that, even if it wasn't the Okura brand, they should have handled it properly as a team. At least, I have never seen such a scene at the Tokyo or Kobe locations, which I occasionally use. With the increase of luxury foreign hotels, I believe that this long-established brand hotel is a valuable example of Japanese hospitality, and I hope they do not tarnish that reputation themselves.

Every time is very comfortable.
I had a very comfortable stay. The room service here is particularly excellent. The food is delicious, and they offer small sizes, which is really appreciated. I caused some trouble with the coffee machine malfunction, but I am grateful for the staff's courteous response. The facilities are old, so there are some inevitable aspects compared to new hotels, but I think the service more than makes up for it.

The room was as it a...
The room was as it appeared in the photos, but the unit bath had a terrible smell (ammonia odor) which was tough to endure... The origami crane placed on the bed was a nice touch. The sweets from the pastry boutique on the first floor and the breakfast at Camellia were plentiful and delicious. The front desk staff were also very pleasant.

I was able to relax slowly.
This was my first time using this accommodation. It was my third visit to Hakata in my life, and I was really able to relax. The staff's response was wonderful, and I was filled with gratitude. However, I felt uncomfortable at the restaurant after checking out, so I gave the service four stars. If I have the opportunity to visit Hakata again, I would like to use Okura again. It was a very satisfying stay and a memorable birthday. Thank you very much.

Solo trip to Hakata
I used this hotel for a solo trip to Hakata as a reward for myself. There's no doubt that it's a good hotel. However... my impression is that while it has elegance, it lacks energy. I look forward to its further improvement.

Very comfortable service and facilities.
I used Hotel Okura Fukuoka for the first time. As expected, the front desk, service, lobby, and guest rooms were impeccable. There were no reductions in amenities, which are often seen recently, making it comfortable. Additionally, when I requested the loan of wine glasses and a wine opener to enjoy my own preferred wine in the room, they provided wine glasses suitable for the type of wine (red) and even chilled them before bringing them to the room, showing attention to detail. One point of disappointment, which is a personal preference, is that I would prefer to avoid bathrooms where the bath and toilet are together. It's not something that can be easily addressed, but please consider it for the future.

It was a comfortable stay.
I stayed at Hotel Okura Fukuoka for 2 nights and 3 days for the first time in four years. Before my stay, I was contacted and was able to convey the reason for my stay and my preferences, allowing me to enjoy the thoughtful service not found in foreign hotel chains and meals that met my expectations. I plan to use this hotel again on my next visit to Fukuoka.

Hotel with good access
I stayed for three nights since my last visit in October last year, marking my sixth stay. I've been to Fukuoka over 40 times in the past 15 years. This time, before staying at the Okura, I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Fukuoka with access to the club lounge. The Okura plan included breakfast, but the menu was almost the same for three days, with only "baked curry" changing to "chicken tempura" and the grilled fish changing. I think it would have been more enjoyable if there were more daily variations. For example, there was "motsunabe" for three days, but changing it to "mizutaki" or slightly altering the types of desserts, salads, and Danish pastries would add a sense of freshness. The previous day's breakfast at the Grand Hyatt Fukuoka's club lounge included not only the usual buffet dishes but also a seafood bowl where you could pile on as much fresh amberjack, tuna, salmon, sea bream with sesame sauce, and salmon roe as you liked, so I couldn't help but compare. The service from almost all the staff was excellent. However, unfortunately, on the first day, "baked curry" was served for breakfast, and on the second day, it was changed to "chicken tempura." Since we were sightseeing in Mojiko on the second day, I thought of skipping "baked curry" there and having seafood instead if "baked curry" was to be served for breakfast on the third day. So, during breakfast on the second day, when a staff member came to pour coffee, I asked, "Will there be baked curry tomorrow?" The staff said, "I'll check," but never got back to us, and their subsequent avoidance of our table left a poor impression, which was very disappointing. In the end, I had "baked curry" in Mojiko, and it was served for breakfast the next day. Other than that, I was very satisfied.

All rooms are unit type with a bathroom and toilet, which is disappointing.
I made a reservation thinking it would be the same as other Okura hotels, but it was like a business hotel with a unit bath and toilet set. Even the towels were in small plastic bags! The breakfast selection and taste were not good, and during the meal, the staff came to clear the plates multiple times, which felt very noisy. Hands reached from behind three times during our conversation, and I had to ask them to stop. Kyoto Okura is not very good either, but Fukuoka Okura was disappointing in every aspect except for the front desk service.

I used this accommodation for attending a stage performance at Hakataza. Each and every staff member is very kind, and I always have a pleasant stay. I plan to stay here again the next time I visit Hakata.

I stayed for four nights when a typhoon hit Kyushu. For two whole days, the department store, Anpanman Museum, and the adjacent commercial facilities were temporarily closed, but I was able to relax at the hotel and had a satisfying stay. I was with a one-year-old child, and I am truly grateful for the baby crib, clean towels, and the staff's attentiveness. Thank you very much. I plan to stay here again when I visit Hakata.

It was disappointing that there was no smartphone charger.
Recently, the hotels I stay at have a 3-in-1 multi-cable for smartphone charging, so I didn't bring one with me, but unfortunately, there wasn't one in the room, which was disappointing. That's the only reason I deducted one star.
