Enjoy a relaxing hot spring bath and the seasonal scenery at a nature-rich hidden gem.

At our Property surrounded by abundant nature, you can experience a heartwarming and body-soothing stay. You can relax in the Onsen while gazing at the Katsuura River. The large communal baths include two types: "Hinoki Bath" and "Rock Bath," each equipped with a jet bath, sauna, and cold bath. The hot spring source is a simple sulfur cold mineral spring that flows from "Tsukigatani," a place historically known as where Kobo Daishi once trained. Guest rooms are available in two types: Japanese-style and Japanese-Western style, both offering views of the Katsuura River from the windows. For dinner and breakfast, we serve dishes featuring locally grown vegetables and fresh fish from nearby waters. You can also enjoy craft beer made at a local brewery and original drinks.

Meal example

Focusing on local consumption, meals centered around mountain delicacies.

While we do not offer luxurious seafood or premium meats, our head chef carefully selects a variety of ingredients, focusing on the blessings of the mountains and rivers, locally grown vegetables, and fish caught in nearby waters. Kamikatsu Town is renowned for its specialties such as thick, fresh shiitake mushrooms, amego fish, leaf wasabi, wild mountain vegetables, and citrus fruits like yuko and sudachi. For dinner, we serve a kaiseki-style meal that includes these local specialties, along with seafood and game dishes. Breakfast features a comforting Japanese set meal with handmade tofu and a hot pot of "Awaodori" chicken. We are happy to accommodate food allergies, so please inform us in advance. Please note that the menu may vary depending on the season, so feel free to contact us for more details.

Deep in the mountains? Surprisingly close! "Transportation Access"

Kamikatsu Town is a rural mountain town with a population of less than 1,500. There are no convenience stores in the town, and there is only one traffic light. We sincerely apologize, but access via public transportation is inconvenient and complicated, so please check the town hall's website or contact them by phone for more information. On the other hand, access by car is very simple. From Tokushima City, head south on National Route 55 Bypass and turn right after crossing the "Katsuragawa Bridge." This is the only turn you need to make. After that, just follow Prefectural Route 16, and you will arrive. It takes about 1 hour from Tokushima City, about 2 hours from Kobe, and about 3 hours from Osaka.
