A welcoming accommodation with 8 rooms located at the gateway to Kamikochi, "Sawando Onsen".

Sawanodo means "a place where rivers gather." In December of 1998, Onsen was introduced to this area, which had been used as a base for visiting Kamikochi, and thus Sawanodo Onsen was born. Our inn opened five years later, in July of 2003. Although we are located in the middle of the mountains with nothing around, Keiryuso Shiorie warmly awaits your visit. We would be delighted if you could use Shiorie to fully enjoy nature, heal your daily fatigue, celebrate special occasions with loved ones, or reward yourself for your hard work.

  • Shiori-e, you were amazing. It was genuinely great, no flattery. The Room was great, and the tea, coffee, drinks in the fridge, meals… everything was excellent.Well… if I had to mention one thing: I ordered soba shochu with hot water, but it was lukewarm (really lukewarm). The wine was also fantastic—I got to try some rare wines!Next time, I’d love to visit during cherry blossom season.Thank you for taking care of me for my one-night stay. One more thing… the women’s cave-style bath had a bit of a sewer-like smell or something—it smelled a little.
