    My parents were delighted.

    My parents stayed at the accommodation to celebrate my mother's birthday. The view from the window was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding. They were delighted and said it was a great experience. Thank you very much.

    I was deeply moved.

    I made a same-day Reservation on the last day of the Obon holiday and visited unexpectedly. Despite what must have been a tiring period, the front desk and bell staff greeted me with wonderful smiles, providing just the right amount of explanation and maintaining an ideal level of interaction. I visit the bar every year, and once again, the staff there were attentive yet unobtrusive—truly exceptional. They served an outstanding drink as always. For breakfast, I was guided to an alternative venue since the 3rd-floor buffet was fully booked, but even this guidance was handled with care. I look forward to enjoying their wine-poached plums every year at breakfast, and they were delicious again this time. On the other hand, I tried their special fruit tea for the first time—it might be generally considered tasty? But it wasn’t to my personal liking. I also found it disappointing that their tomato juice now contains salt. The high-floor rooms have renovated bathrooms that are somewhat easier to use; however, I found the closet doors slightly inconvenient. Every staff member I interacted with during this stay was truly courteous and smiling throughout my visit—it made me feel genuinely happy during my stay here. Thank you very much!

    I love hotels in Tok...

    I love hotels in Tokyo, and I thought it might be nice to stay at a well-established and familiar accommodation in Kobe for the first time. The staff were mostly pleasant, but I felt a bit puzzled by the deterioration that contrasted with the grandeur of the interior and the self-service ice machine system.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    Arriving late at night by Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Shin-Kobe Station, I checked in at 8:30 PM and was able to rest quickly thanks to the efficient service. There is also a convenience store on the lobby floor, which was very convenient. As expected of Hotel Okura, the quality was excellent. I learned for the first time that there is a bus to Arima Onsen. It might be better to promote this more.

    The staff, the view, and the outdoor pool... all are my favorites.

    I love Kobe and this is my favorite Hotel. The dinner buffet at Ariake is delightful, and the staff are wonderful. In summer, the outdoor pool and poolside restaurant offering loco moco and draft beer are simply the best.

    Recovery Celebration

    Stayed for a recovery celebration. Included matcha tea, breakfast, and dinner. Enjoyed learning about various teas from the staff at the matcha shop. The hospitality of the Camellia staff was excellent, and the meals were delicious. If there’s one small concern, it would be that the wallpaper near the window in the room was peeling. The scenery, comfort, and service at this wonderful hotel make me want to stay again. Thank you very much!

    Exclusive services befitting a prestigious establishment

    It was my first stay in a while. I received the reliable service expected from a prestigious accommodation. Since the breakfast venue was full, I was guided from the 3rd floor to the 34th floor. Even though it was temporarily set up in a large hall, I enjoyed breakfast with an amazing view and felt very satisfied. Many accommodations in Kobe are priced above their value, but Hotel Okura Kobe offered pricing that matched its worth. I will definitely use it again.

    I stayed for the Osa...

    I stayed for the Osaka Expo. I chose a room with a focus on the view, and my wife and daughter were very pleased. As we arrived late, we opted for room service for dinner. The food arrived very quickly after ordering, was incredibly delicious, and left us highly satisfied. The staff provided thoughtful service—thank you very much. Two instances stood out: one was when they prepared extra plates for room service without us requesting them; the other was during breakfast when I temporarily misplaced the paper with our room number (later found), and they kindly checked our room number using the key card. Please extend my gratitude to your staff members. Thank you!

    An elegant Hotel

    Used for accommodation with a friend visiting from Kyushu. Popular among inbound tourists, as I realized when I saw many foreign visitors at check-in. Although it has been over 30 years, the room was very clean, and the night views of Port Tower, G-Lion, and Port Island were beautiful and relaxing.

    Usually, I make a Re...

    Usually, I make a Reservation as a One Harmony member, but this time IKYU's Plan was more affordable, so I used IKYU's Plan. Since I'm familiar with the Room, I expected the usual—only one tissue case and no hand towels—but I've come to accept it. However, I was surprised that there were no bathrobes in the deluxe Room. After calling, they brought additional towels along with a bathrobe. What surprised me this time was that the water temperature of the washlet was too hot, making me stop using it immediately. Although the Room has been renovated, perhaps because older fixtures like toilets are still in use, there is a sense of mismatch remaining. Using the toilet requires caution. That said, Camellia's cake was delicious and the courteous service by senior staff at breakfast made for a pleasant experience—it felt like Okura's tradition still remains intact.

    It was disappointing despite my expectations...

    Disappointing aspects: I expected a first-class hotel, but... - The staff managing the buffet restaurant "Ariake" were unhelpful and unfriendly. They seemed indifferent to customer satisfaction. It's a shame because the food was delicious. - No ice service available. Guests are told to get it themselves from the ice machine on a lower floor—similar to low-cost city hotels? For reference, at the city hotel I stayed in the previous day, the front desk provided it for me. - The duvet cover on the bed was severely torn. It's strange that maintenance didn't notice this issue. I pointed it out to the front desk during checkout.

    It was a lovely Room.

    I stayed here during my home renovation. I was excited as I didn’t know about this residence before. The bathtub was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, allowing me to rest well, and the French toast for breakfast was delicious. It was perfect. Thank you very much!

    Disappointing!

    Every year around this time, I often visit Kobe and stay at Okura Accommodation, but it feels like the renowned historic hotels are losing their charm year by year. Especially the breakfast—what used to be something I looked forward to has now become shockingly disappointing, far from what you’d expect from a hotel meal. On the first day, as the restaurant on the 3rd floor was fully booked, we were directed to a temporary buffet venue on the 34th floor. On the second day, we were told that arriving early would allow us to dine at the 3rd-floor restaurant. So we went right at its 7 AM opening and managed to get in without issue. By around 8 AM when we finished eating, there were empty seats available; however, guests arriving then were still being directed to the 34th floor just like us on the previous day. Why is that when there are so many vacant seats? The menus between floors seem similar but not identical. It was truly disappointing that there was no option other than a buffet for breakfast.

    Convenient and enjoyable!

    This was my first time staying here. The location is very convenient, with Mosaic and the cruise ship terminal within walking distance. The staff were very attentive, and the night view from the room was beautiful. I would love to stay at this Hotel again. I gave one less star for the Onsen bath as there is no large public bath available.

    The view was beautiful.

    We stayed for golf in Arima and the Kansai Expo, but since we had the chance, we also enjoyed Kobe's night view and the Seto Inland Sea scenery. The room was spacious and comfortable, and all our requests were handled properly, allowing us to have a wonderful family trip. The staff at the breakfast venue were full of smiles, and we enjoyed a delicious meal.

    Stable Comfort

    I stayed for two nights alone as I had business on Awaji Island. The Room was so spacious that it felt luxurious for just one person, and I was very satisfied. This was my second stay, and I appreciated the calm and stable atmosphere without excessive service.

    The view was excellent.

    For an additional 4000 yen, we requested a renovated Room, but unfortunately, the water facilities were not renovated, which was a bit disappointing.

    Beloved Okura

    Stayed at Okura Kobe for the second night of my solo trip to Kansai. The lobby floor exudes a Japanese ambiance, just like Okura Tokyo. The room was spacious, and they prepared a room with the requested view. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hotel both at night and in the morning. Thank you also for kindly accommodating requests for tableware rentals.

    The shuttle service was convenient.

    The location is excellent, and I was able to relax while enjoying the night view from the Room until late at night. However, for women, a slightly lower or softer pillow might have made sleeping more comfortable.

    I was soothed by the Port Tower.

    We enjoyed the view from the window, including Port Tower, Harborland Mosaic, the Ferris wheel, and the sea. The Room did not feel outdated. Thank you to all the staff.
