    I stayed with my wife at the accommodation. The quality of the onsen water, as expected from Naruko Onsen, was excellent. We enjoyed a peaceful and quiet time. I thought it was all-inclusive, but it turned out not to be (perhaps my misunderstanding?). Even so, online ordering was available, and we were able to relax and enjoy our stay.

  • Onsen is the best!

    This was my first visit from Hokkaido to Naruko Onsen in Miyagi Prefecture. As rumored, the onsen had a slightly mild sulfuric quality, which was very pleasant. While Hokkaido also has many sulfuric onsens like Noboribetsu Onsen and Kawayu Onsen, this onsen's sulfur scent was not too strong and felt gentle on the skin. Regarding the hotel, the staff provided excellent service, and I was satisfied with the meals. However, during checkout, the payment process was somewhat confusing and there was only one staff member handling it, leading to significant congestion. It would be appreciated if a more senior-friendly payment system could be implemented. Overall, it was a satisfying stay at this accommodation. I would love to use it again when visiting Tohoku in the future.

    [Information] Regarding the Accommodation Tax in Miyagi Prefecture

    Thank you for your continued patronage of Naruko Fuga.

    With the enforcement of the "Miyagi Prefecture Accommodation Tax Ordinance," an accommodation tax will be applied to all guests staying from Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

    If the accommodation fee is JPY 6,000 or more per person per night (No Meals Included, tax excluded), an accommodation tax of JPY 300 per person per night will be charged.
    * This tax is separate from the accommodation fee at the time of reservation and must be paid at the hotel.

    ■ Exemptions from Accommodation Tax
    Accommodation tax will be exempted in the following cases:
    - Stays related to educational activities within school curriculums (e.g., school trips) and club activities
    - Stays related to activities at childcare facilities or certified children's centers
    - Stays by foreign ambassadors and others on official duties
