We extend our heartfelt sympathies to everyone affected by the novel coronavirus and express our deepest gratitude and respect to all medical professionals and everyone working tirelessly across The whole country to combat this situation.
At Hotel Kaneyamaen & Bessho Sasa, we have implemented and reinforced various preventive hygiene measures as part of our response to the novel coronavirus.
■ Valet parking service (car handling) is temporarily suspended upon your car's arrival.
Our staff will guide you to the parking area at the entrance.
■ We kindly ask for your cooperation in hand sanitization at the main entrance and throughout the Property.
■ At the main entrance, we request your cooperation with non-contact temperature checks conducted by staff or self-surface temperature measurement using thermography.
If your surface temperature exceeds 37.5°C, we will ask for a temperature check using an electronic thermometer.
(Surface temperature may appear 1–2°C lower than body temperature.)
■ Acrylic partitions for droplet prevention have been installed at the front desk counter.
■ All staff wear hygiene masks, and service staff are instructed not to enter guest Rooms.
■ We request that elevators be used by one group at a time, and disinfectant sheets are provided inside the elevator.
■ Bath towels and amenities in the large public bath are individually packaged, and lockers in the changing rooms are regularly disinfected and cleaned.
■ During the infection prevention period, dinner will feature a special Japanese multi-course meal "Niju Sansan" (approximately 8 dishes) focusing on gourmet quality and safety, and breakfast will be a "Seasonal Japanese Breakfast Box."
Unlike usual, we minimize the number of times dishes are served to ensure a safe dining experience.
* Dining locations, menus, and tableware may vary depending on the Plan or season.
■ For group banquet venues, seating arrangements are set with adequate spacing.
■ Food sampling at the souvenir shop is temporarily suspended.
For items available for sampling, please inform the staff, and they will bring them to you.
■ For the nightly "Reiho Taiko Drum Show," seating arrangements are spaced wider than usual.
■ In addition to regular cleaning, we conduct disinfection and sterilization cleaning of handrails, doorknobs, and other areas. Facility management staff also carry out planned disinfection throughout the entire Property, including back areas.
■ All staff and business partners are required to thoroughly gargle and wash hands in the back areas.
■ All staff are required to measure and record their temperature before starting work.
If a staff member has a fever of 37.5°C or higher, or exhibits symptoms such as fever, cold-like symptoms, fatigue, or difficulty breathing, they are required to stay home.
The above measures may be subject to change or cancellation without prior notice depending on the domestic infection situation, requests from the government or local authorities, or legal requirements. We appreciate your understanding in advance.
We sincerely apologize, but the following services and Facilities will be temporarily suspended:
- Use of the garden footbath
- Beverage service at the post-bath tea house
- Amazake service at the garden Komorebi-an
- Night snack bar and night bar lounge operations
- Massage services
* All guest Rooms are equipped with windows that can be freely opened and ventilated by guests.
We recommend refreshing and promoting health with the fresh air of the Mt. Fuji foothills during your stay.
* The shape of the windows may vary depending on the Room type (image shows a guest Room in Miyamatei).
* Hotel Kaneyamaen & Bessho Sasa is filled with "healing" created by nature and people.
To ensure that our guests can enjoy a safe and secure stay at our Property, all staff are making maximum efforts to manage their health and maintain hygiene within the Property.
