Amanohashidate Bay Hotel

Although the Hotel was far from the station, the Shuttle Service meant we had no trouble getting around even without a car. The starry sky was beautiful. I was personally impressed that I could freely use skincare items like toner and lotion, and by the staff’s thoughtful attention to detail (an origami crane, sleep-aid items, dinner recommendations, etc.).We chose a Plan with breakfast, and it was delicious. The number of dishes was just right, and we could enjoy our meal in a calm setting. There were a few minor points (the Room temperature, complimentary services, etc.), but they were within an acceptable range. Overall, it’s a Hotel I would recommend to others. Thank you very much.

On the second day of our stay in Kyoto, we stayed at a different Hotel each night. There was a discount for staying at a Hotel within walking distance of the Onsen complex, which also offered views of Amanohashidate in the distance and was just an 8-minute drive to Motoise Shrine and the observatory—a fantastic location. However, there were only izakayas nearby for dinner, which didn’t allow children, so we thought about eating at the food terrace in the Onsen complex but found out it had already closed down. In a hurry, we booked a table at the Hotel restaurant instead. The pool at the Onsen complex had areas where children could play and enjoy themselves thoroughly. After enjoying some time in the Onsen as well, it was time to check into our Room. Our luggage had already been brought up to our Room beforehand; it was clean and well-maintained with a fresh atmosphere.For dinner, even though our child didn’t eat soup, salad, or dessert, they kindly accommodated us with various options while serving delicious dishes that made for an enjoyable evening—thank you very much! Breakfast included both Japanese and Western options; we could take our time enjoying it leisurely. The takeaway coffee service was also excellent.This has become one of my favorite Hotels to stay at when visiting Amanohashidate again!
