Hotel Monterey Kobe

This was my first stay, and since it’s near Sannomiya Station there are plenty of places to eat, transportation is convenient, and the location was excellent. I had been looking forward to breakfast after reading the Reviews, and it really was great! My daughter and I said we’d like to stay here again the next time we visit Kobe.　However, when we returned to the Hotel after dinner, the last admission for the large public bath is 10:30 PM. We went to check in around 10:00 PM, but it was crowded and entry was restricted to ease congestion, so we had to wait. Since bathing ends at 11:00 PM, we barely had time to warm up before having to leave—this part was a bit disappointing. I guess it can’t be helped because that time slot gets busy...　Still, overall it was really good and it made for a fun trip.

I always stay here when visiting Kobe.This is a valuable Hotel with a quad Room that can accommodate a family of four.Although compact, there is also a large public bath where you can relax and relieve your fatigue. It can get crowded depending on the time, so there may be a wait, but the staff will guide you in order.At the breakfast buffet, you can enjoy DONQ bread and roast beef. I especially recommend the roasted onions—they’re tender, sweet, and delicious.I will definitely stay here again next time. Thank you very much.
