    Always the best.

    I use this Hotel for day use, and it always provides outstanding service and a wonderful space whenever I visit. I like it so much that I stay here often. Highly recommended for spending time with someone special.

    Repeat stay

    I stayed here the year before last and had a great experience, so I chose to stay again. The Shuttle Service bus from the station to the Hotel is very convenient. The bath is not a unit bath; it has a calm, spacious bathtub that helps you relax and recover from fatigue. You also arranged rooms next to each other for my companion and me, and it was nice that they were close to the elevator. Thank you very much. It would be even better if the Hotel staff smiled a bit more. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Overall, I had a comfortable stay.

    I stayed here again for the first time in two years. At reception, they provided warm hand towels, and I appreciated the thoughtful hospitality. Thank you for arranging a Room next to mine, just as requested, close to the elevator, for my mother and sister who stayed in a separate Room. One issue was that it was difficult to adjust the Room temperature. Thank you for your help.

    Third stay

    Thank you as always for the excellent service. This time, you kindly escorted me to my Room. I prefer a Room facing the street over a garden-view Room, so I used that one again for day use. It was for my birthday, and as always, I was very satisfied. Unfortunately, the Hotel restaurants were almost fully booked with Reservations, so I couldn’t dine there this time—but I’ll look forward to it next time. Thank you again for your wonderful service and hospitality. I would like to stay again.

    Better than the Junior Suite.

    I previously stayed in a Junior Suite, but I was able to relax more in this Room. It was a little disappointing that the view was not of the garden, but overall this stay was better. I would like to stay again.

    Very satisfied—better than expected.

    I don’t think you can find this level of service and Room quality elsewhere at this price range. The only drawback is that it’s a bit far from the train station, but there are buses, so it wasn’t a problem at all. Until last year, an affordable Plan was sold around this time as an “Exam Taker Support Plan,” so I hesitated because I wasn’t taking exams, but this year it had a different name, so I was able to make a Reservation.

    Communication before...

    Communication before our stay was courteous, and we truly appreciated your thoughtful support. Thanks to you, we had a very comfortable stay. The neighborhood and the atmosphere inside the Hotel were calm, and we were able to enjoy breakfast at a relaxed pace. The omelet with truffle sauce was delicious. The Room was spacious with a great view and we were very satisfied, but it was a little disappointing that there was no separate washing area or shower booth.

    A First-Class Hotel That Selects Its Guests

    I stayed here because I used to live nearby. The property has aged, but it is still unquestionably a first-class Hotel. I was very satisfied with the lobby, the Room, and the service. The Room does feel a bit dated, but it is well maintained and I had no complaints. The lobby, corridors, and restaurants do not feel old at all. Restaurants (including the bar) close early, so it becomes very quiet at night. There are few bars in the area, so nights are truly peaceful. The biggest point is transportation convenience—or rather the lack of it. It’s far from any JR or subway station. Unless you take a taxi or know how to use the Toei bus or streetcar system, many people will find it inconvenient. However, since a streetcar stop is nearby, access to Higashi-Ikebukuro and Otsuka is good. If you’re traveling light, you can walk to Waseda Station on the Tozai Line, so access to Tokyo Station and Haneda Airport isn’t too bad. It’s not an upscale residential neighborhood, but there are some restaurants here and there, which makes it comfortable to stay around this area. Compared with Chinzanso up on the hill—lobby, restaurants, Rooms—Chinzanso is better across the board; however this Hotel is more convenient overall in some ways, so choosing this one can make sense. It won’t suit everyone, but I like this Hotel and will stay again.

    This is an affordable Hotel.

    The location is a bit tricky, but it’s relatively close to Shinjuku and Ikebukuro. For a Hotel in this class, the Room is spacious and the price is quite reasonable. I didn’t use them this time, but there are also highly rated Japanese, Western, and Chinese restaurants on-site. I hope they continue in this direction going forward.

    Wonderful.

    I’d been interested in this place for a while because it had such high ratings, and it truly was a wonderful Hotel—just as the Reviews said. The staff were very attentive, and I loved the room design. It was spacious and relaxing. The large bathtub was also a great touch. Breakfast was delicious too, with gentle seasoning that I really enjoyed. The shuttle bus service was very convenient as well. A completely satisfying stay—I will definitely be back.

    It might be outdated.

    This is my personal opinion. I stayed here for the first time. It feels like a thorough copy of Western styles. Unlike Prince Hotel, which employed Togo Murano, there seems to be no sign of involving a designer with a clear philosophy. I can only say it was disappointing. A hotel like this is unnecessary in 21st-century Japan. I believe it is outdated.

    Thank you for your flexibility in accommodating same-day plan changes. However, I felt uncomfortable finding a partially consumed water bottle left in the bathroom. While human errors can happen, it might be worth reconsidering operations, such as having a different person double-check at the end.

    Staff Support

    After checking out, I asked a female staff member to store my luggage after stepping outside, but her response felt somewhat suspicious and unwelcoming. Even after explaining that I had stayed at the accommodation, there was no apology or acknowledgment. She might have been young and inexperienced, but once a negative impression is formed, it can be hard to erase.

    Hotel with excellent service quality

    The Hotel provided excellent service. While the Facility and equipment show signs of aging, they are well-maintained and clean. Additionally, I requested to change breakfast to lunch, and the staff handled it pleasantly, for which I am grateful. I would love to stay here again if given the opportunity.

    I made a same-day re...

    I made a same-day reservation to stay at a nostalgic place from my university days. Opted for a plan with breakfast and dinner included, and headed to the Chinese restaurant. Although it was a weekend stay and I expected it to be crowded, there were only two groups including us, allowing for a quiet dining experience. The shark fin dish was incredibly delicious, and I’d love to have it again. The room felt quite old, but it was acceptable for dining and staying overnight. Breakfast was also enjoyable thanks to the kind staff. Thank you for your hospitality!

    I stayed here for an award ceremony. It was a wonderful Hotel. I feel like I finally stayed at a truly good Hotel after a long time. Despite rising prices recently, I was guided to a nice Room at a reasonable rate and had a relaxing stay. The breakfast was also delicious.

    I was a bit disappointed.

    I have stayed at the RIHGA Royal Hotel in Okinawa several times with my husband and always found it comfortable, so this time I decided to spend some relaxing time alone at a nearby RIHGA Royal Hotel and made a Reservation. First, at the front desk, the couple who arrived before me were promptly greeted and assisted, but I was not acknowledged even though I was next in line. Only after I asked to check-in did they finally assist me. There were no other guests waiting. The front desk lacked a sense of hospitality. The Room assigned to me was a corner Room that felt slightly dark. The drawer containing bathrobes and pajamas was broken and could not be opened, so I had to ask the front desk to bring them up for me. Perhaps noticing my dissatisfaction, the staff member who delivered the bathrobe later upgraded me to a slightly larger Room on the top floor. The new Room was spacious with a great view, which gave me some relief; however, when I went to make tea using one of the mugs provided, it turned out to be dirty. Too tired to contact the front desk again, I washed it myself before use. The Japanese-style breakfast via room service was delicious. Next time, I'd like to stay at an upgraded Hotel where warm hospitality is guaranteed.

    The Room was spacious and luxuriously designed.

    The limousine from Takadanobaba was convenient, but the initial boarding point was hard to find. The front desk was also difficult to locate, causing some confusion. The Room itself was excellent, but there were cobwebs in the toilet... which was disappointing.

    The breakfast was excellent.

    During the summer vacation, my elementary school daughter wanted to visit Tokyo, so I searched for a hotel and made a last-minute reservation two days prior. We stayed in a Junior Suite as a family of four with her grandparents. Although the accommodation was a bit dated, it was comfortable for just sleeping. The breakfast the next morning was very delicious. Since it was a weekday, there didn’t seem to be many guests, and there was no crowd during breakfast. The staff's service was also excellent.

    The spaciousness unique to a classic Hotel, traditional European-style interiors, and elegant furnishings are wonderful. I enjoyed a relaxing Hotel stay and was very satisfied. It was excellent.

    No need to bring anything.

    I stayed after an event. Although I wasn't feeling well and only had one bag, there were no issues at all. Recently, standard amenities are often only available in the lobby, but they were properly prepared in the Room. Since I checked in quite late, it was very helpful.

    Zero Hospitality

    There is a long sloped ramp at the parking lot loading area, and suddenly a staff member appeared in front of my car with a large cart filled with trash. I barely managed to stop with an emergency brake, narrowly avoiding an accident. However, the staff member crossed in front of my car without any acknowledgment or greeting as if nothing had happened. I reported this near-miss incident to the accommodation staff during check-in, but their response was indifferent and disappointing. It seems like this hotel's staff prioritizes avoiding trouble over addressing issues seriously. I will not be staying here again.

    Used during the open campus.

    I stayed with my child during an open campus visit. On the first day, it rained, and on the next day, it was extremely hot. The free shuttle bus from Takadanobaba Station was a great help in reducing walking distance. The staff were all very kind, and even after check-out, they kept our luggage for us so we could attend the open campus hands-free. Above all, the location is excellent as you can access Okuma Garden directly from the Hotel and enter Waseda University’s campus within a few minutes' walk. I would love to stay here again during exam season. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, all of which were delicious and impressed my child greatly. The guest room was spacious with facilities that reflect its history; however, both the bathroom and toilet were kept clean, and the bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have another opportunity!

    Mother's Birthday

    I stayed here for my mother's birthday. The Room's interior and furniture were classic and elegant, creating a calm and graceful atmosphere. (My mother loved it so much that she said she wanted to live in this Room forever.) The greenery of the adjacent Okuma Garden was beautiful, and the staff at both the reception and restaurant were kind and welcoming, allowing us to enjoy a comfortable two-day stay. I would love to visit again.

    I had a relaxing time.

    I live nearby, but due to home renovations and work fatigue, I decided to stay here for a quiet and restful sleep. It’s a hidden gem in the city—quiet, clean, and with delicious meals. I had a great night's sleep on a weekday and went straight to work feeling more efficient. I look forward to another Multiple Night Stay. Thank you very much!

    Stayed here unexpect...

    Stayed here unexpectedly for a Buddhist ceremony, and it had been a while since my last stay. Although the bell staff was slow to notice even when I stopped at the car drop-off area, one young staff member came out promptly after a quick honk, leaving a better impression than before. The room felt slightly dated but not enough to be bothersome, and the value for this stay was satisfactory. I visited the bar and was surprised to find no other guests there despite it being a weekday during Golden Week! The martini I ordered was perfectly chilled as requested and very enjoyable. The atmosphere and staff service were excellent as well. The highlight of my stay was breakfast. Although prices have increased compared to before, the variety of Japanese dishes offered has expanded, with freshly cooked rice that stood out in quality. I also loved that fresh orange juice from a machine is now available—such an improvement! The only disappointment was the grilled mackerel (saba), but overall, it’s a breakfast that makes me want to return again just for it.

    It was a wonderful Hotel!

    Check-in at 9 PM was met with pleasant and accommodating service. Thank you for addressing our requests and concerns! The Room, including the bathroom, was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the Room with a great view was very enjoyable. Although this stay was short due to circumstances, I look forward to a longer visit next time to enjoy dining within the Hotel. Thank you for your high-level hospitality!
