    Club Access

    This was my third stay, and my first time staying in a Club Access Room. The Room is very simple, with just a bed and a small table, but I really liked the firmness of the bed. For bathing, I used the spa (large public bath) while using the pool. The facilities feel a bit dated, but I was able to relax in the large jacuzzi and felt very refreshed. I did wish the provided hair dryer were a bit better. The lounge food and atmosphere were excellent. I had seen a Review somewhere saying that meat dishes run out early, but at every time slot I was able to enjoy delicious grilled beef. The staff frequently and quietly cleared plates and replenished food, which made my stay very comfortable. I would like to stay here again when I visit Fukuoka next time.

    The breakfast smoothies are delicious.

    I had a very comfortable stay. Having a designated space for my suitcase was a big plus! I was also delighted with the birthday hospitality provided. The breakfast smoothie was so delicious that I couldn’t resist having seconds. This time it was berry-flavored—does it change with the seasons? I would love to stay here again!

    The management has changed...

    The management changed to Hoshino, and unfortunately, the Hotel has become disappointing. The sauna and bath areas were particularly poor. There were no towels available after exiting the bath. I thought it might be a coincidence, but there were still no towels the next morning. When I finally found a towel back at the locker, it was thin and cheap—nothing like the quality of towels used at Grand Hyatt. Maintenance was also worse compared to before. Most of the staff I interacted with seemed to be part-time workers rather than full-time employees. This is a typical example of how Hotels under Hoshino's cost-focused management can deteriorate in quality.

    Everything was disappointing.

    First of all, it's very expensive. Despite the high price, the room is cramped, the view isn't good, and I couldn't help but think there are much better hotels in Tokyo at the same price range. The worst part was the lobby. The bar attached to the hotel allows smoking, but since its entrance door is left open, the smell of cigarettes fills up the lobby. When we returned from dinner at night, the lobby smelled like cigarettes, which ruined our mood after an otherwise delicious meal. Additionally, there was only one hotel staff member managing car arrivals and departures in front of the lobby. It was crowded and poorly managed as a result. The single staff member had to handle guests arriving by car while also calling taxis for others and opening doors or guiding people to their spots in line—this is impossible for just one person to manage effectively. At least two staff members are needed here; ideally three would be better. We noticed that someone waiting for a taxi after us didn’t know where to line up and ended up being skipped by another guest who arrived later—it seemed unfair. Finally, during checkout, it seemed like we could simply return our card key without paying any accommodation tax yet! Concerned about this oversight in their system's process integrity, I asked about it—and they responded with "Oh yes! That will be 1,000 yen please." This system feels completely broken!

    Enjoyed a wonderful ...

    Enjoyed a wonderful evening with piano performances at the bar and the fountain show at Canal City while sipping on drinks. The breakfast buffet was also delicious, and the staff were friendly and kind with warm smiles. I would love to stay here again on my next visit to Hakata.

    I have used this place four times from Tokyo. The Room was satisfactory, but the shower in this Room had weak water pressure and took a long time to get hot, which made it a bit cold. Since I have long hair, the low water pressure made it take longer. (Both nights)

    Unfortunately.

    The response from the young staff at the front desk and bell desk has worsened, possibly due to a change in policy or lack of employee training. Additionally, the cleaning was not thorough as stains were still present. I have stayed here frequently in the past, but with this kind of service, I might reconsider staying again next time.

    It was great!

    Since I stayed in a Club Room, breakfast was served in a separate venue exclusive to Club Rooms and Suites, allowing for a calm and pleasant dining experience. However, it was disappointing that there were no women's amenities such as lotion or emulsion, nor any hair ties provided.

    We can see your hard work.

    The Grand Club was under renovation, so I had been using The Ritz-Carlton for a while. The Grand Club no longer allows free access as before, and you cannot enter the club until you check in. Inside, it has been renovated beautifully, and the breakfast offerings were excellent. The egg dishes were also delicious. Currently, the bar on the first floor is under renovation, which was a bit disappointing. It was clear that the staff were working hard despite being few in number. One staff member impressively handled everything from bell captain duties to managing the club floor with great professionalism. I look forward to staying again once the bar is completed!

    The food is delicious.

    The club lounge does not address guests who overindulge during breakfast or cocktail time. Staff do not stop loud commotion or large family photo sessions. It was so bad that I opted for paid room service instead of using the club lounge, making the club floor unnecessary. The position of the TV in the bathroom is inexplicable. From where is it intended to be viewed? The living room TV is also outdated, lacking Miracast and unable to connect to Netflix, reminiscent of a TV from the Heisei era.

    The location is excellent. The Room was quite small at the bottom, but the bathroom was spacious to compensate. At night, even with the air conditioner off, the central air system made it too hot and dry, making it hard to breathe. There is a humidifier, but it was practically useless and very uncomfortable ( ; ; ).

    The best part was the Room and Facility, and although the service was polite, the detailed attention was from the lady in the club lounge. She was the only one who apologized until the end when someone mistakenly sat in the seat we were shown to. However, I think it was perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of daily life.

    It took unexpectedly long to check in, about 20 minutes, which was disappointing. They mentioned they were looking for an available Room, but it was strange since the check-in time had already passed.

    Wedding Anniversary

    This year, I also used the club floor. I received an anniversary cake from the Hotel. The pool and gym from the morning were a pleasant time. I was able to enjoy the meals at a leisurely pace. I plan to use it again next year.

    It was my first stay in a while. I visited by car, but the doorman did not greet me or anything, and only after I said, "I'm staying..." was I finally guided to the parking lot. The response from the front desk was good, but I was concerned about the staff with dyed hair and long nails with character designs. The room was spacious and comfortable, but I got the impression that cleaning was not thorough, as there was dust on the fan and in the corners. It would have been nice to have information on the types of coffee provided, as I wanted to have decaf. Also, the water in the bath drained very slowly. Aging might be inevitable, but compared to last time, it was disappointing. The location is excellent. Thank you for your hospitality.

    This quality at this price! Fully satisfied with the best Hotel!

    Thank you for hosting us for one night. Everything was perfect. The staff were very courteous to everyone, which was pleasant to see. We added breakfast at check-in, and it was delicious. We will use your services again when we visit Hakata.

    Club lounge access is recommended.

    The quality of the club lounge was high. The afternoon tea service was comfortable with few people, and although dinner was crowded, the staff quickly found us a seat, allowing us to enjoy it. The breakfast was also delicious.

    The club lounge has been renovated and is now spacious, including the reception area. Notably, the quality of the food was excellent in both quality and quantity, making it the best club lounge cuisine I've experienced in recent years. The variety of drinks was also impressive, providing a level of satisfaction that made it worth visiting just for the dining experience. I would definitely like to use it again. One concern was that the bar on the first floor allows smoking at all seats, so I chose a seat at the far end away from smokers. In this day and age, I feel it might be appropriate to designate some non-smoking areas.

    Upgraded Club Lounge

    This is my second stay. My previous stay was two years ago, and at that time, the club lounge was under renovation, so I used The Market F and Bar Lounge Bar Fizz as alternatives. However, this time, the renovated club lounge was upgraded, providing a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, which was very refreshing. The food was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed making my own seafood bowl for breakfast. The spa was also not crowded, allowing for a pleasant experience. Since I was with a friend this time, we ended up taking turns. I hope more massage chairs will be installed in the future so we can use them together. Other than that, everything was perfect, and I will definitely use this property again when I visit Fukuoka.

    I hadn't been to Hya...

    I hadn't been to Hyatt Fukuoka for a while. I was looking forward to visiting as the lounge had been renovated. It was spacious and the food selection had significantly increased, but somehow I felt more at ease with the previous setup. The food was quite rich, and I wished for something lighter. Since it had been about 10 years since I frequently stayed there, I noticed signs of aging in the corridors and rooms. The corridors had the characteristic smell of an old building, and I thought it might be a good idea to use some fragrance. The staff were all pleasant, and I felt that with gradual renovations, it could return to the stylish Hyatt Fukuoka it once was.

    It's always the best no matter how many times I stay.

    I have stayed at this hotel many times, and it is a wonderful hotel that makes me want to stay again. The room is spacious and clean, and although there are some slightly old parts, I was able to stay very comfortably. As with last year, we also celebrated my husband's birthday, and I was delighted to receive congratulatory words from many of the restaurant staff. Dinner and breakfast were as delicious as ever. I have used Market F many times since they offered afternoon tea, and the staff's hospitality is truly excellent. The birthday cake was lovely, and I ended up taking lots of photos. It was also delicious. When I visit Fukuoka, I will use it again. Thank you once again for this time.

    I would like to stay again.

    I stayed at the property for the first time in several years, and the room was clean and had a lovely atmosphere, making it very relaxing. The renovated club lounge was open and pleasant. The snacks and dishes were very delicious. Thank you for your consideration regarding allergies.

    Enjoy the lounge.

    I like this lounge and occasionally use it (my home is nearby). Recently, more hotels have lounges where you can enjoy drinks and light meals, but this one offers a satisfying selection and menu (at least for a hotel at a level I can afford). The pool and gym are also well-equipped, and I look forward to visiting again when I have the chance.

    You can receive the best service.

    Booked a Club Queen. This was my third stay. During the past two stays, I could only access the temporary lounge due to COVID-19 and lounge renovations, but this time I was able to enter the regular lounge for the first time. Since it's only for club room guests, it was quiet and comfortable with fewer people. The food in the lounge was all delicious, and the seafood bowl and egg dishes prepared in front of me for breakfast were exquisite. Until now, I had only used the bathroom in the guest room, but this time I sweated it out in the spa, which is free for club room guests. Everywhere was very clean, and I had a comfortable time. Lastly, I thought the quality was impressive as all the staff provided meticulous service. I want to stay here every time I come to Hakata.

    Club floor slightly downgraded?

    One of my favorite hotels in Japan. Prices have skyrocketed due to inbound demand, but you can stay using IKYU's hometown tax program. Stayed for the first time in six years, partly due to COVID-19. Blissful club floor experience. The renovations made the space larger and overall satisfying, but there were three disappointing points: 1) The club floor reception felt too casual, almost like a Business Hotel—clearly a downgrade. 2) Some tables in the club floor lounge had legs that were excessively thick (photo), making it uncomfortably cramped for seated guests—a poor design choice. 3) A club lounge is meant to offer an extraordinary experience. Previously, Hyatt had a pleasant sense of sophistication and exclusivity, but now there are many young couples in shorts and sandals or foreign tourists, which slightly dampened the atmosphere. I also visited the main bar and noticed similar types of guests there as well. Perhaps implementing a light dress code—like prohibiting sandals or shorts—for both the club lounge and bar would enhance the ambiance. While this might be acceptable at resorts like those in Hawaii, I feel that Grand Hyatt should maintain an extraordinary sense of style where dressing up adds to its charm.

    I stayed in a room with access to the club lounge. The renovated club lounge was spacious, bright, and a very comfortable space. I was also very satisfied with the high quality of the breakfast and cocktail time dishes. The guest room, although showing signs of age since the hotel's establishment, was kept clean. I also thought the table and luggage space were efficiently arranged within the limited area. The distinctive wet area was also bright, clean, and user-friendly. The veteran staff were very kind, allowing me to relax and enjoy my stay. I would like to visit again.
