    I stayed here for the first time in over 10 years. I stayed with a friend from Nagoya, and we were satisfied with the renovated Executive Floor. I love the calm atmosphere of Tokyu Hotel, and my friend was also pleased.

    Satisfying Stay

    I have dined twice at the hotel for afternoon tea before, but this was my first stay. I stayed here for my daughter's exam, and it was extremely comfortable. Next time, I would love to visit for sightseeing.

    Comfort on the Executive Floor

    I stayed for two nights on the Executive Floor. The staff's service was excellent, and I was able to enjoy a calm and pleasant stay from check-in to check-out. The lounge felt slightly small, but the variety of drinks was satisfactory. It would be nice if there were a few more options for snacks (including hors d'oeuvres). For breakfast, I initially planned to visit Montmartre and Nadaman, but since Montmartre was very crowded, I chose Nadaman for both mornings. Breakfast at Nadaman offers a relaxed and elegant atmosphere, making it highly recommended. I look forward to staying here again when visiting Nagoya.

    We stayed as a group of three friends and had a great experience. When it started raining in the evening on our way to dinner, they kindly lent us umbrellas. One of my friends mentioned that the bathtub was spacious and comfortable. They also provided lotion, face wash, and cream. The room was large enough that even with an extra bed added, it didn’t feel cramped. We opted for breakfast included, which offered a wide variety and was delicious. However, since we had a packed schedule and wanted to check out early, it was unfortunate that breakfast started at 6:30 AM, so we couldn’t enjoy it leisurely. We would love to stay here again if we have another opportunity!

    Stayed for the first time during the Nagoya Festival. **Hotel Facilities:** The underground parking lot is a flat surface parking area, making it easy to park even large vehicles. A foreign bell staff member carried my luggage and guided me from the front desk to my room. The security system, requiring key access in the elevator, on the accommodation floor, and at the room door, provided peace of mind. The hallways and rooms were clean with calm colors that did not feel outdated. Amenities were well-prepared, and the room was spacious with a comfortable bed. **Breakfast Buffet:** I arrived at 6:15 AM when it opened and was smoothly guided to my seat for breakfast. **Positive Points:** Despite being managed by one person in an open kitchen during early hours, they efficiently prepared two types of fried eggs and omelets. When two female guests asked about congee (which was not available), they promptly responded that they could prepare it if given some time—an impressive level of service rarely seen in other hotels where such requests might be declined due to busyness. This reflects top-class hospitality akin to Tokyo's best accommodations that strive never to say no when possible. Additionally, table service was attentive; used plates and glasses were cleared promptly after meals without delay. Among other international or domestic hotels I’ve stayed at in Nagoya offering breakfast buffets featuring local specialties (e.g., kishimen noodles, miso katsu pork cutlet, chicken wings, or eel rice bowl), this hotel had superior quality regarding taste consistency as well as temperature control for dishes served fresh alongside beverages kept appropriately warm/cold. **Areas for Improvement:** Why are vegetable names missing from salad corner labels? Similarly unclear labeling applies elsewhere like grilled fish options—I’d like details on what type(s) are offered here too! **Service Quality:** While senior restaurant managers/concierges smiled warmly greeting guests during breakfast buffet interactions positively overall impressions lacked similar enthusiasm across front desk/bell staff teams who merely nodded politely instead engaging more actively through cheerful greetings/smiles enhancing guest experiences further!

    It was a relaxing accommodation.

    Located in Sakae with excellent transportation access, taxis are always available for your convenience. Situated slightly off the main road, it offers a quiet environment free from noise.

    We would like to enhance our morning newspaper service.

    The morning newspaper service is appreciated, but most Hotels usually confirm the preferred newspaper during check-in. Despite wearing a suit, Asahi Shimbun was provided. I requested to exchange it for Nikkei Shimbun at check-out, but it was unavailable. Providing a newspaper that won't be read is meaningless, and it seems standard to prepare Nikkei Shimbun if someone is in a suit. If preferences are not confirmed during check-in, the morning newspaper service loses its value.

    The staff were kind ...

    The staff were kind and attentive, making my stay very comfortable. Since I stayed for two nights, I chose a Japanese set meal on the first night and a buffet on the second night, both of which were delicious. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Nagoya.

    A Base for Sightseeing

    I stayed at the accommodation during my first visit to Nagoya. I was especially looking forward to the food, but the room and facilities were also clean, serene, and very pleasant. The staff's attentiveness was excellent as well. I will make a reservation again. Thank you very much!

    It was excellent!

    The staff's hospitality and service were excellent, and the facility was comfortable without being overly luxurious. Staying in an Executive Room with lounge access allowed us to enjoy delicious wine in the evening, making for a perfect pre-dinner gathering. The breakfast buffet included Nagoya specialties, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The Japanese dishes were particularly delightful compared to the Western options. It would have been even better if the bread had been tastier. Being able to use the parking lot until 3:00 PM the next day was also a great perk! This is an accommodation I would love to stay at again when visiting Nagoya.

    The location is a short walk from Sakae.

    This is truly an impressive building, reflecting its long-standing history as a Hotel. Despite its age, it is very well-maintained. The Room is not overly luxurious but functional. It would have been even better if the wear was separated into top and bottom pieces. Both the buffet and Nadaman cuisine are delicious. The bread is also excellent, so much so that I occasionally take some home as a souvenir. The lobby lounge? It’s spacious and offers a relaxing atmosphere. The nostalgic pudding à la mode is also delightful. I look forward to staying here again!

    Even as a single, the Room and bed were spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. The young staff members greeted with warm smiles and refreshing hospitality, which was heartwarming.

    Comfortable Stay

    It was a very comfortable stay, and I would like to stay here again whenever I have work in Nagoya. You can feel the hospitality of this long-established accommodation throughout. If I may point out one thing, it would be the elevator. It is a very charming elevator that makes a sound like wind chimes when you ride it. The glass lighting is beautiful and impressive, making everyone look up. However, there is quite a bit of dust on the beautiful lighting. It would be great if this could be cleaned more thoroughly.

    Executive Stay

    Overall, it was excellent. From the entrance of the Hotel, top-notch service was provided. The executive floor had impeccable security, and the lounge was used smartly with mutual consideration. As a sauna enthusiast, I fully enjoyed both the bath and sauna, making it a wonderful stay.

    Stayed for 2 nights.

    It was a bit of a walk from Sakae Station, but the Hotel had a traditional and open design. The elevator wait time felt short. The meals were delicious, and it was helpful that requests for Room cleaning times were accommodated.

    Nagoya was hot.

    I have stayed here twice before. I had another reason to visit Nagoya, and since I was familiar with the place and there was a free parking benefit through the IKYU special offer, I decided to stay again. Unexpectedly, my room was upgraded, and it turned out to be a very nice room, so I was extremely satisfied. Thank you very much! The location is close to Sakae and very convenient, so I highly recommend it. However, Nagoya in summer is hot! The hotel is great, but be prepared for the summer heat in Nagoya. I also felt the significant impact of inbound tourism during my stay. Although I didn’t use the breakfast service, I noticed that the voices of inbound guests heading for breakfast were somewhat distracting.

    I requested an upgrade, but it was not granted. I received a gym pass, but I didn’t realize it could only be used for two hours in the morning and couldn’t use it. There was no mention of this time restriction here, and I think a brief explanation would have been helpful. Other than that, I enjoyed the delicious breakfast at Nadaman.

    The towels, beds, and rooms are clean. The lively atmosphere of the lobby gives the impression of a large Hotel near a busy downtown area, but I was able to relax.

    From check-in to the morning greeting, the staff's smiles were truly wonderful. I enjoyed breakfast at Montmartre; the Nagoya-style dishes are now centrally located and easier to find, and the chicken wings were even tastier than those from famous Nagoya restaurants. However, it was disappointing that I couldn't get a freshly made omelet as before, possibly due to how busy the staff seemed. Instead, I had to settle for a pre-prepared fried egg. Previously, choosing ingredients for a freshly cooked omelet on-site was an exceptional experience.

    Excellent location

    Thank you for accommodating us with a smile despite our late check-in. The parking lot was narrow, and since we have a slightly larger foreign car, it was quite challenging to park. It would be helpful to have parking spaces dedicated to larger vehicles, though I understand this might be asking too much. The Room was spacious and clean; we would love to stay again!

    It was great!

    I stay at this accommodation every year, and it seems to have improved compared to previous years. The lounge, though offering only light snacks, had an improved selection, and I used it multiple times. After having lunch within the hotel, I was planning to grab coffee somewhere else. However, since the room was ready earlier than expected due to low occupancy, I could enjoy coffee in the lounge instead. The snacks were tastier than before as well. After dinner, I also enjoyed the alcoholic beverages provided. The concierge staff treated me very kindly. I plan to stay here again.

    I reserved a room with a bathroom that includes a washing area, and the price was reasonable compared to international hotels. The staff's service was pleasant, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast tasted good, but the variety could have been slightly better.

    The area around the Hotel offers a variety of Nagoya cuisine.

    There is a bakery with a buttery aftertaste near the breakfast buffet area within the Hotel. Within a 5-minute walk from the Hotel, you can find various gourmet options such as chicken wings, crab dishes, steak, and Turkish cuisine. This Hotel offers an elegant stay along with easy access to delicious food. Next time, I will come with my wife.
