    Check-in service is excellent.

    Great view. Clean Room. It's a pity there's no large public bath.

    The rooms are located on the upper floors, offering a stunning panoramic view of Hamamatsu city. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and impeccably clean. It is an excellent Hotel with no major complaints; however, having a large public bath would have been a nice addition considering recent trends.

    This was my first time using this accommodation. From the moment I inquired via email before my stay, the staff responded very politely, which made me feel at ease. The location near Hamamatsu Station was convenient and easy to find. The luggage storage service both before check-in and after check-out was extremely helpful. The room was clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, which I greatly appreciated. The multi-charging cable provided was also very useful. Not only were the room and services excellent, but all staff members—from the front desk to the cloakroom—were polite and attentive, allowing me to have a comfortable and worry-free stay. I would love to use this accommodation again if I have another opportunity in the future. Thank you so much!

    We were upgraded and...

    We were upgraded and had a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed Chinese cuisine for dinner, and everything was delicious. Okura always offers exceptional hospitality, making every visit delightful. We stay here when visiting Ise Jingu and will definitely return next time.

    The staff is friendly.

    We stayed as a family of three (couple and child). Upon entering the room, we found amenities such as toothbrushes prepared for only two people, and no pajamas were provided. We had to call the front desk to have them delivered. Later at night, when preparing to take a bath, we noticed there was no skincare set and had it brought to us as well. It was disappointing that items one would expect to be standard in a hotel of this class were missing. The staff were mostly kind and helpful, making the stay pleasant overall. However, perhaps due to the busy Obon season, there were multiple issues with missing amenities. The parking lot allows long-term parking and is very convenient for those using Hamamatsu Station as a base. The standard floor rooms are older but offer separate bath and toilet areas with sufficient space. While I would consider staying here again when visiting Hamamatsu due to its convenience, I cannot forget how unprepared they were despite knowing the number of guests in advance.

    I booked a Room for my parents, and it seems they were upgraded to a higher grade. They had a very pleasant stay in the wonderful Room. Thank you so much for your kindness.

    Facility limitations are undeniable, but the hospitality is exceptional.

    Access from the Shinkansen to the Hotel was unexpectedly confusing. I used the self check-in/out system, but there was only one machine available, and the instructions were too simple, resulting in low usage. The staffed check-in had a long line, while self check-in had no wait time. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked and satisfying. The Room had a unit bath style with the sink, toilet, and bathtub all in one space. We stayed in a triple Room as a family, but using a unit bath for family use was quite challenging. Additionally, there was some dust in the Room. The service and hospitality were of excellent quality as expected. It is a good Hotel; however, I might hold off on repeating my stay here for now and consider trying another Hotel next time.

    The air conditioning is not working.

    The air conditioning in the room was not working. When the front desk staff came to check, they mentioned that they had never used air conditioning at home and couldn't tell if it was functioning or not in this room. I found this quite surprising for a hotel. Additionally, there was a musty smell of dust. The Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingu Gaien no Mori Premier where I stayed the previous day was much better. I will not be using Okura Act City Hotel Hamamatsu again.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    As expected from a Hotel bearing the prestigious Okura name, it is truly first-class. Access from the station is very convenient. Although many years have passed since its opening, it is well-maintained.

    First time using it.

    It was my first time using this facility, and I found the parking area difficult to locate. It would have been helpful to have more guidance for first-time visitors. It also took some time to find a parking space. The breakfast was standard and felt limited in variety. However, the room's facilities were clean and of high quality, which was very satisfying overall, making the other aspects disappointing.

    It was a great hotel...

    It was a great hotel. The staff were all very attentive, and I had a comfortable stay. The view was nice, and despite being close to Hamamatsu Station, it was not noisy and very convenient. It has an unpretentious yet calm atmosphere, and I would be happy to stay again.

    Room service is fully equipped and convenient...

    I always stay here when visiting Hamamatsu. The Room is clean and functional, with a bed that has just the right firmness for a good night's sleep. The bright bathroom with a magnifying mirror is very convenient. This time, I noticed the shower head had been updated, allowing easy switching between faucet and shower with just one button—very handy! However, it seemed to loosen during use, causing water pressure to drop. Please adjust this; it was Room 3317. I checked in after 4 PM and wanted to enjoy tea at the café but was informed that last orders were at 4:30 PM. There were no cake sets or similar options available through room service either, so I had to go out for good tea. Additionally, I learned that breakfast room service has been discontinued. It would be wonderful if you could offer sets like Shizuoka's delicious tea with traditional Japanese sweets or black tea with cakes through room service!

    Felt the tradition.

    I stayed at the Hotel for work, so I spent limited time there and couldn't fully enjoy it. However, as expected from a hotel bearing the Okura name, the staff's service was excellent. The Room had a wonderful view, and amenities like coffee and bathroom supplies were sufficient. The Room was also impeccably clean. A few disappointments were that I wanted to order coffee after dinner at the Hotel, but room service ended at 9 PM. Additionally, the hairdryer in the Room had surprisingly low power; no matter how long I used it, my hair wouldn't dry properly, and I eventually gave up. Many hotels seem to close their room service or kitchen early due to staffing shortages. While I understand these challenges, nighttime is precisely when such services are needed as surrounding stores are closed. It would be great if a solution could be found for this issue. As for the hairdryer, it felt like there wasn't much consideration for female guests. Nowadays, high-power models have become standard even among regular options; I hope this can be reviewed in the future.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    All the staff we interacted with were polite and provided pleasant service. Since it is close to the station, we were able to leave our luggage both before check-in and after check-out, allowing us to explore freely. The Musical Instrument Museum can also be accessed without going outside. Our Room was on the 39th floor, offering beautiful night views. We were very satisfied with this comfortable Hotel.

    View of Mount Fuji from the window

    The building itself is not new, but the Room was clean and comfortable. You can enjoy the view of Hamamatsu's nightscape from the large windows at night and Mount Fuji in the morning. The morning newspaper service, which has become quite rare these days, was a pleasant surprise. If you're coming from Hamamatsu Station, it's a bit of a detour if you go from ground level, so using the moving walkway on the second floor of the station building allows you to reach the Hotel without getting wet even on rainy days.

    The view was spectacular.

    The elevator doors feature sheet music, and a piano is placed in the lobby, with musical motifs throughout the property, giving a sense of being in a city of music. Two out of the five elevators are glass-walled, allowing you to enjoy views of the city as you ascend to higher floors, which adds to the excitement. The Room on the 42nd floor offered an incredible view through its large windows that provided a sense of openness. The spacious and comfortable Room had a calm atmosphere. Being directly connected to Hamamatsu Station's building was very convenient. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, including Hamamatsu gyoza. The corn soup was exceptional.

    A sophisticated Hotel unchanged for 20 years

    Once again, my wife and I had a wonderful stay. Quiet, clean, and luxurious. 20 years ago, during my solo assignment, there was a concert by Masashi Sada, and afterward, I stayed here with my wife. Her happy smile back then hasn’t changed this year either. Relaxing in the room truly makes you feel the gentle flow of time. The accommodation fee hasn’t even increased! Both my wife and I feel rejuvenated. Highly recommended for both young and older guests alike.

    The lobby and room furniture had a luxurious feel, unlike a Business Hotel. I reserved a single room on a high floor, but the room was small, with one side of the bed against the wall, which was disappointing as it differed from the photos.

    Room service is available, giving a sense of recovery from the pandemic.

    I booked a south-facing Room with an ocean view. It was on the corner of the 40th floor, and I felt it might not be a frequently used Room because the window glass wasn't very clean. I cleaned it myself, and it didn't bother me once it got dark. The air conditioning wasn't working well, so I asked the staff to adjust it for me. Previously, air conditioning couldn't be adjusted from within the Room before renovations, but now temperature settings can be controlled in-room; however, it took some time to warm up. With room service back after COVID-19 restrictions ended, I used it for the first time in years. Although it's more expensive than going to the breakfast venue, having breakfast via room service was worthwhile as I could relax in my own space.

    The view from the Room was wonderful.

    I stayed in Hamamatsu for the first time to participate in the Hamamatsu City Half Marathon. I knew it as a city of music, and I enjoyed discovering musical notes throughout the Hotel. While some parts of the Facility showed signs of aging, the classical atmosphere of the Room was very charming, and above all, the view of Hamamatsu city from the high floors was wonderful. The transition from dusk to night view and morning scenery could be fully enjoyed through large windows, making it one of my fond memories. If I have another chance to visit Hamamatsu, I would like to stay again.

    Choose the right one!

    We stayed at the Property for our child's entrance exam. The Hotel's arrangements, such as booking a taxi on the day we were concerned about, were well-prepared and everything went smoothly. Other services and the view from the Room (especially the night view) were also very good. It would have been nice to have a humidifier.

    You can always count on a safe stay!

    Whenever I visit, there is a sense of security and peace. Last month, due to a last-minute reservation, I couldn't get my usual room and stayed in a slightly smaller room, but it was no problem! This time, I was able to stay in the room I'm always taken care of in, and as expected, it's spacious and calming. From arrival to departure, the staff's service is always excellent. Despite being an old hotel, there is no unpleasant oldness at all. Although I stay here for visiting relatives, I find myself wanting to stay here again and again. Now I'm looking at the Availability Calendar wondering when I'll go next. Thank you again for your hospitality.

    The view is amazing!

    This was my second visit. The view from the Room was fantastic. I chose this place because it has good access to Hamamatsu Castle. However, it was a bit disappointing that there were not enough towels. The front desk staff's indifferent service was also unfortunate. Still, the great view makes up for it, so it's OK.

    The view from the Room is wonderful. The sea was clearly visible. Also, being next to the station makes it convenient to go anywhere. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

    It was an enjoyable stay.

    This time, I will meet my beloved daughter coming from Tokyo at the Hotel. The room was thoughtfully arranged with a calm pink theme for two women staying, allowing us to fully enjoy the hotel life after work and travel fatigue disappeared. I am touched by the courteous response to the Review. Thank you very much.

    The finest Hotel in Hamamatsu offering a sparkling night view from the upper floors.

    Truly a landmark in Hamamatsu, I had always wanted to stay here. Although it is adjacent to the station, the facility is so large that it was surprisingly distant. However, as stated on the website, it is a 3-minute walk. It is a very convenient location. I stayed in the [Upper Premium] Standard Single room. The stylish and luxurious interior and amenities were wonderful. It was a bit small, which was disappointing, but given the price comparable to a Business Hotel, it was expected. Although it was on the city side, the view from the high floor was also amazing. In hindsight, I thought I should have spent a little more for a larger room on the ocean side at this level. Additionally, the staff's courteous service was indeed the Okura quality. Moreover, there was a walking map of Act City, and I enjoyed a unique and varied walking experience from early morning that I couldn't have elsewhere.
