Tokino no Tei Nabedagawa

Three generations of our family stayed for one night. My child and grandchild live in Aichi Prefecture, while my husband and I came from Kagoshima that day. Our flight was canceled and we panicked, but we managed to arrive by evening. We were picked up at the station, and first of all, the food was very delicious and the Onsen was great. The water quality felt similar to Ibusuki in Kagoshima. The next day, we also had a big surprise from our other child who lives in Aichi, and everything—including the flight cancellation—became a wonderful memory. It was a shame that we arrived in Yatomi late and couldn’t join the Java sparrow event, but we made sure to take photos of the two Java sparrow bronze statues at Kintetsu Yatomi Station.

I chose this Accommodation because it has a large public bath, offered good value even with one night and two meals included, and is close to Nabana no Sato. Since the following three points were clearly stated at the time of Reservation—during the day you share the facilities with day-use bath guests, payment is cash only, and there is no bathroom in the guest rooms—I stayed with full understanding and had no complaints at all. There are no free drinks such as bottled water in the room, and no bath amenities like skincare products either, but given the low price and cleanliness, this was not an issue for me.I was pleasantly surprised that dinner was served in a private room. I chose the reasonably priced dinner set with about five dishes, and it was very filling: a small chicken shabu-shabu hot pot, grilled yellowtail collar, miso katsu, two small side dishes, rice, and miso soup. Near the front desk they also sold light prepared foods—ohagi (sweet rice balls), sakura mochi (cherry blossom rice cakes), yomogi mochi (mugwort rice cakes), etc.—probably for day-use visitors. I thought I might buy something if dinner wasn’t enough, but I was far too full.On the last day of my three-night trip I had a lot of laundry, so it was very helpful that there was a clean-looking new high-performance coin laundry on-site; I could wash and dry my clothes while using the bath. PayPay could be used there as well.
