    Hospitality at its best!

    The bath is private, but there is no view of the sea. However, both the manager and the head chef went out of their way to talk with us, and their thoughtfulness and hospitality were exceptional. This accommodation provided a special experience, making us want to visit again.

    Food

    When making a reservation at the hotel, I confirmed my food allergies. Clam dishes cause severe diarrhea and vomiting. Fortunately, I found something to eat. The waiter did not understand anything when I spoke in English. This was very disappointing. I have stayed at this hotel four times, but this time was very disappointing. I hope more attention will be given in the future.

    An accommodation that lets you forget reality for a while

    We visited this accommodation, which accepts only four groups per day, to celebrate a 70th birthday. The cuisine was exquisite kaiseki dishes incorporating seasonal ingredients such as mountain vegetables. The onsen was by time reservation and included a sauna that my husband enjoyed, with enough space for 4-5 people and a very clean atmosphere. Although we hadn't mentioned it beforehand, the staff kindly celebrated the 70th birthday with us, which made us very happy. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and were very satisfied. We would love to stay here again if we have the chance. Thank you so much!

    Satisfaction

    The location visible from the room was wonderful, and the room was clean with a satisfying variety of drinks in the refrigerator. Meals could be enjoyed slowly in a quiet place, and the bath had a very spacious bathroom available for private use. Additionally, we were provided with Shuttle Service to the large public bath of an affiliated Hotel, allowing us to enjoy a hot spring tour. I ordered strawberry delivery as a souvenir for my friend, and they were very pleased to receive high-grade strawberries. I will definitely return.

    Savor the remnants of the era's wealth.

    Since my first visit, I have always stayed at Seipa. I was moved by such an experience. I was completely satisfied with the service, food, building, and Room. Although this has not changed even now, it is unfortunate that there are minor reductions due to management aspects. Personally, let me mention two points about the food this time: I prefer the style where sashimi is served on a bed of ice. It was disappointing that it was presented in the same style as Fufu Atami (Atami). I would like to see some differentiation. The main meat dish was served at a completely missed temperature range. While it's understandable due to busyness and timing, this is Kaifutei (Kaifutei), after all—it's KPG (KPG). I hope for better in the future. Thank you very much.

    Repeat confirmed! Everything about this Property was perfect.

    I made a Reservation for Seiba, dreaming of dining on the water balcony, and it was absolutely the right choice. While enjoying the extraordinary atmosphere, the dishes we had were the most impressive we've ever experienced. Additionally, being surrounded by an artistic space that utilized water and glass, we were able to spend an incredibly luxurious time. Thank you to all the staff for the exceptional hospitality.

    This was my first ti...

    This was my first time using the facility. First of all, I think the food is wonderful. It seems like the head chef is young, but I was very satisfied. Also, the staff's service was seamless, and I felt they were well-trained. Overall, I think it was impeccable. If I had to point out something, it would be that I couldn't take a bath whenever I wanted. Since it's Atami, private baths are nice, but I wish I could take a bath whenever I wanted. However, I understand that given the current situation, the only way is to separate times for men and women, so I recognize it's an unreasonable request. In any case, I thought it was a wonderful facility. I will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

    It was very disappointing.

    This was my first experience of being so disappointed, so I am writing a review. First, there were many disappointing aspects regarding the staff's service. When I asked for water during the meal, not once did anyone notice it was empty and refill it for me. Also, during the meal, my plate was taken away without checking, even though there was still food on it. I think they were in a hurry to serve the next meal, but it was unfortunate. I understand that they might be short-staffed and busy, but even during the meal, the staff were walking quickly, making clacking sounds with their heels, which made me feel rushed throughout. At breakfast, the wrong items were served, and even after I pointed it out, they didn't notice... Given the price, I expected professional service, but it was very disappointing. As for the food, while it was tasty, there was nothing particularly impressive, and some dishes seemed overcooked. Regarding the facilities, broken items were left as they were. The closet door in the room was broken and wouldn't close, with no prior explanation. Parts of the door's wood were peeling off and left unattended... It seemed dangerous as it was peeling off sharply, so I think it should be repaired. Overall, the response, service, and facilities were not worth the price, and I felt it was not a hotel worth staying at for this price.

    If you are visiting by private car, it is recommended to study in advance. After driving around Atami City twice, I called, but it went through the reservation center, which took more time and almost ruined my mood.

    Review of Suite Fuka.

    It is a popular property where it is difficult to make a reservation on weekends, but I happened to be able to reserve a suite that was canceled at the last minute and was very much looking forward to visiting. This is my impression of the suite for two people at 160,000 yen. The open-air bath is next to a hotel that is not in operation, so the view is not good. The deterioration of the entrance door is severe, making opening and closing very troublesome. Also, I think it is necessary to urgently improve the visibility from the water balcony. I think this is especially concerning for women. The mat next to the open-air bath was very worn out and uncomfortable. Since it is a place to sit and cool down, I think it should be changed to a design that feels clean. I think the level of the meals is high. The staff's customer service was also very good. Overall, I did not feel satisfied with the price.

    Concerned about privacy in the bath. Everything else is perfect!

    As mentioned in other reviews, the open-air bath being fully visible from the water balcony was quite concerning. Other than that, as expected from KPG!! The meals, the hospitality, everything was perfect.

    The best view and Facility, a blissful time.

    In a hotel with only four rooms, I made a reservation six months ago. My wife was delighted, saying that the number one room and dining on the water balcony became wonderful memories. The open-air bath in the room and the indoor bath from the hidden door were also very good. Especially, the sunrise from the open-air bath was like a postcard. The amenities and everyone's attentiveness were also excellent.

    Japanese cuisine is the best!

    What seniors like me look for in a travel destination are a comfortable room, scenic views, onsen, and delicious meals. What is noteworthy about this hotel is that the dinner is among the most delicious I've ever had. Moreover, the dinners on both nights maintained a high standard. However, regarding breakfast, the Japanese breakfast on the first night was very delicious, but on the second night, with the staff's recommendation, I chose the Western breakfast, which was just ordinarily good. For those staying two nights, I think it's better not to choose the Western breakfast. I would like to lower the rating by 0.5 for the Western breakfast, but since there is no such score, I'll keep it at 5. The onsen in the large public bath didn't feel much like an onsen. There was no smell, no texture of the water, and no warm feeling after bathing. The view from the window was beautiful, with the sea visible beyond the nearby trees, creating a lovely contrast. The room was comfortable, but there was no coffee maker, so I brewed the coffee pack with hot water, which was not great. The coffee after meals was also brewed in a strange way and was not great. The staff was friendly and helpful with smiles. For me, the meals are excellent, so it's a property I would like to visit again.

    This was our second ...

    This was our second visit following last year. It was a wonderful stay, as expected, or even more. The Japanese kaiseki dinner was excellent. The pairing of wine and sake was also good. The meal was my favorite part. Breakfast was also wonderful; I had the Japanese set meal. My wife and daughter ordered Western-style meals. Both were delicious, but my top recommendation is the Japanese breakfast. You can enjoy sashimi and dried fish unique to Atami, and the white rice was so delicious that I had several helpings. It's hard to get a reservation, but I want to visit at least once a year. Thank you very much. The view from the room was also the best. The sunrise rose directly in front of us. We used the Japanese-style room, Sawa.

    Travel for Wedding Anniversary

    We were blessed with good weather and had a very nice trip. This time, Kaifurou is part of the Fufu series, and everything from meals to Room cleaning was well taken care of. We especially had a great conversation with the person in charge of breakfast, which caused us to be a little late for checkout, but they responded very kindly and drove us to the station. We made another wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

    I was very satisfied.

    I had the opportunity to stay at Kaifutei, a place I've always wanted to visit. The building was innovative and beautiful, making it hard to believe it was built nearly 30 years ago. The service was very courteous, and when I used the connecting baths, they kindly accommodated my requests, for which I am very grateful. The most impressive part was the food. It was Japanese cuisine, and every dish was truly delicious. The wine pairing was generous in quantity and felt quite reasonable. The private family bath was spacious and comfortable, and the washroom was easy to use. Next time, I would like to stay in a different room.

    It was good but disappointing.

    The meals were excellent, with each dish featuring unexpected combinations of ingredients that were delicious and enjoyable until the very end. The service was also commendable, as the staff, including the new female attendant, conveyed a sense of cleanliness and a genuine desire to provide hospitality, which left a positive impression. Our room was on the second floor, but it was disappointing to see such a significant difference between the two rooms on the second floor and the two rooms on the third floor. While it's understandable that the special dining area on the third floor is only available to third-floor guests, it was puzzling that the height of the garden trees was left in a state where the sea view was obstructed from the second floor but could be fully enjoyed from the third floor.

    Excellent

    Kaihouro, a place I've always wanted to stay. I thought it would be best to visit in the summer since the theme is water, so I planned this trip six months in advance. I booked the Fuka room because I wanted to dine on the Water Balcony, the main attraction. The experience started with a car pick-up, followed by a check-in with a welcome drink, and the view from the lobby was fantastic. The room was spacious for just two people, with a high ceiling and a great view. Dinner on the Water Balcony overlooking the sea was delicious. We requested breakfast in the room and enjoyed a leisurely meal. We were so full. We indulged in the luxurious private hot spring twice, in the morning and evening. The open-air bath in the room was nice, and we also used the indoor bath. With only four rooms, it truly felt like a private hotel without overlapping with other guests. I am fond of the Fufu Group and have stayed at various places, but my husband says Kaihouro is the best overall. (The other places are also really great, though.) I would love to stay again if I have the chance.

    I was very satisfied with my stay.

    Last week, my spouse and I decided on a trip to Atami, so we stayed at "ATAMI Kaihourou" based on reviews from Ikkyu and other sources. The shared spaces of the hotel had a somewhat dated feel, but the room we stayed in had a wood tone, with a wall-to-wall window offering a view of Atami. It was a clean room with attention to detail, and we were very satisfied. The meals we were looking forward to were also very delicious, and the hamo shabu hot pot was enjoyable with its unique presentation, pleasing to the eyes as well. The breakfast was also delicious, but we were so full that we left some, for which we feel very sorry to the chef. A bit disappointing was that the trees outside the dining area seemed to have grown a bit too much, obstructing the view of Atami, so I think it might be a good idea to trim them a little. Thanks to the manager and all the staff, we had a wonderful time. We hope to visit again when we have the chance.

    I had wanted to stay at this hotel for about three years, but my schedule never aligned until now. As expected from a small luxury hotel, the staff's thoughtfulness was truly wonderful and healing. Since my stay coincided with my birthday, I was thrilled to receive a gift from the hotel, and they even offered complimentary services when the drink order was delayed. There were so many surprises, making it a dream-like two days. The room, meals, and bath were all excellent. The room I stayed in was comfortable, and being on the same floor as the lobby made it easy to move around. - Upon check-in, there was a welcome drink! (You can choose between alcoholic or non-alcoholic) - Everything in the fridge except for the champagne is free. - After using the private bath, beer, water, coffee milk, or tea is free. The stay at the hotel was so fulfilling that even though I was on a trip to Atami, I didn't venture out into the city at all. I checked in at 3 PM and enjoyed my stay thoroughly until noon the next day. I had been busy with work and household chores every day, but these two days were truly healing. To say the least, it was the best. Thank you very much.

    Enjoyed delicious cuisine and a spacious private hot spring.

    I was very satisfied to stay at Kaifutei, which I had wanted to visit for a long time. I enjoyed delicious meals, soaked in a spacious private bath, and slept soundly on a Simmons bed, feeling extremely luxurious. With a maximum of 4 groups of guests per day, it feels as calm as visiting someone's home. There was also parking available, which was convenient. I definitely want to visit again.

    Kaifonro, where you can enjoy breathtaking views and exquisite cuisine.

    I was unsure which hotel to choose for my first trip to Atami, but I selected this one based on the images, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. They picked us up at the station, and the white building standing at the end of the slope was like a museum with a beautiful harmony of glass and water designed by Kengo Kuma. The view from the lobby is endlessly captivating, and the dinner featured sophisticated seasonal dishes unique to the Fufu Group. The time-rented large bath was also excellent. I am grateful for the courteous service provided by the staff. Thank you very much.

    We had a pleasant and enjoyable time.

    This time, I stayed for one night with a friend in the Fuka Room. The Room was a spacious and pleasant space with a white and blue theme. All the staff were very kind and friendly. We had delightful conversations and enjoyed our time immensely. We used the private bath twice, in the morning and evening. It was impeccably clean, and everything from amenities to hairdryers to drinks was well-prepared. And above all, the meals were outstanding! Each dish was meticulously crafted without compromising the quality of ingredients—visually appealing and absolutely delicious—a true culinary delight. Dinner was served in the dining area, while breakfast was enjoyed on the water balcony. Everything tasted amazing; service timing by staff was perfect, and we even received greetings from the head chef. It made for an incredibly enjoyable dining experience. Truly satisfying! Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful time!

    I was very satisfied as it met my expectations.

    It was my first time using this facility, and I was satisfied with the food, service, and amenities. I was able to reserve a private bath at my desired time and enjoyed the Atami hot springs in a bath as large as a public bath. The food was also enjoyable both in taste and visually. If I had to mention a slight dissatisfaction, it would be that the alcohol service was quite slow. Also, while the breakfast was very delicious, the leafy vegetables in the salad were very fibrous and tough, which was a bit disappointing, likely due to the ingredients. Additionally, as a suggestion, I am fond of alcohol and used the bar after dinner, but it was unfortunate that there were no cocktails available. It would have been nice to have a few simple cocktails like a gin and tonic. Nonetheless, it was a nice inn where I could relax, and I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity.
