This was my first time dining at “Kashima.” I had always assumed Koganoi only offered a buffet, but it was wonderful to relax and enjoy Japanese cuisine. Since it was a weekday, there were few guests, so we could dine at a leisurely pace. My wife also said she’d like to choose Japanese cuisine again next time. Breakfast, however, was the usual buffet. The Room was upgraded for us, so we slept well, and there were times when we had the Onsen almost to ourselves and could truly unwind. The water level in the indoor bath of the Onsen seemed low—perhaps because there were fewer guests? It wasn’t inconvenient, but it felt about 10 cm shallower than usual.
