Kusatsu Onsen Yubatake Sensui

The room, staff service, meals, private open-air bath attached to the room, and location—everything was flawless at this wonderful accommodation. It is not inexpensive, but if you want to fully enjoy Kusatsu Onsen Town, this accommodation is the perfect choice! I will definitely visit again.

I stayed for two days and one night. Since it was right after the New Year, I was able to stay at an affordable price. As I had a small child, I wanted a room with a private open-air bath and found Yubatake Sensui while searching. The ryokan looked very luxurious online, but when I visited in person, its location near the heart of Kusatsu Onsen's "Yubatake" was excellent, and the hotel's luxury stood out compared to other ryokans. Being so close to Yubatake while enjoying such comfort made me very satisfied. However, there were no chairs for small children in the dinner venue, which made feeding my child a bit challenging. Additionally, the parking lot is quite far and only accessible by shuttle bus, which can be inconvenient for families with lots of children's belongings. The guest room itself had facilities that allowed us to enjoy our stay even with a small child. While there were some minor inconveniences overall, we were supported by the thoughtful care of the staff (especially from one young female staff member whose attentiveness was wonderful—thank you!). Although it's not somewhere we can visit frequently, I would definitely like to stay here again on my next trip to Kusatsu Onsen!
