The Hotel had a calm, modern Japanese-style atmosphere throughout. The view from the window was beautiful, overlooking the Nagara River and Gifu Castle. The scenery from the large public bath on the 8th floor was also spectacular. I really enjoyed breakfast, with fun and delicious options like comparing different types of rice and making my own furikake seasoning. For dinner, I chose in-Room dining, so I could eat at a relaxed pace. The only disappointment was that the tempura in the Shokado bento had gone cold, but that’s understandable for a boxed meal. All of the staff were polite, and I had a wonderful stay.

Each dish was crafted to highlight the individuality of the ingredients without being overly assertive, and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The menu exceeded our expectations in a delightful way, surprising us with each course and making us look forward to what came next. The baths were relaxing, and we took our time enjoying them all. The view from the Room was also wonderful. We will visit again. Thank you very much!

You can enjoy "freshly cooked rice in a clay pot" made with branded rice from Gifu, known as one of the leading rice-producing regions in The whole country. Savor the aroma of "Niebana," which signifies the moment the rice is perfectly cooked, and the al dente texture filled with moisture as the rice transforms into a meal. In addition to clay pot rice, we also offer dishes that highlight the sweetness of rice, such as rice dressings made with rice vinegar, rice oil, koji, and amazake, as well as tempura infused with the aroma of Ibi tea, fried with rice flour.
