A hidden Resort Hotel by the sea, with all rooms facing the ocean.
[Awarded 1 Michelin Key in January 2025 (2 consecutive years)] [Forbes Recommended Hotel 2026 (9 consecutive years)] [World Luxury Hotel Awards 2025 (12 consecutive years)] Hotel Hyakuna Garan is a Japanese–Ryukyu style hotel set in a mystical place known as the stage of Ryukyuan creation mythology. With mountains behind and the sea stretching out below, you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset, as well as views of Kudaka Island, the most sacred site in the Ryukyus. Inside, covered corridors encircle a courtyard lush with towering banyan trees, inviting you into a serene world woven from light, shadow, and breeze. All guest rooms are oceanfront suites—an indulgent space accompanied by the sound of waves. In the private open-air bath on the top floor, take in the ever-changing sea as time passes and enjoy a pure moment at one with nature. A “hometown of the heart,” filled with deep joy that feels like nostalgia, awaits you here.
I’ve stayed at various Hotels through IKYU, and this was the best experience I’ve had so far. I’ll never forget the views of the sea and sky from the open-air bath. Our Room was a corner Room, with a view that truly felt like we had the ocean all to ourselves. I think it’s perfect for anyone who wants to relax in the bath and spend time gazing at the sea. The only disappointment was that the amenities didn’t include makeup remover, and some hair care items (such as oil) were missing. It would also be more convenient if there were body lotion and makeup remover in the washing area by the open-air bath. I’d love to visit again next spring. Thank you for your hospitality.
ワインと美味しい料理大好... 3/14/2026I stayed alone to celebrate my 60th birthday. The room offered a stunning ocean view, and I enjoyed a luxurious time with kaiseki cuisine based on Okinawan dishes. The thoughtful touches, such as a celebratory message and dessert plate, were heartwarming. The meals were served as courses or set dishes, all delicious, with portion adjustments (smaller) made to ensure I could enjoy everything until the end. The accommodation is quiet and relaxing, as it mainly caters to small groups of adults. I highly recommend this hotel for treating yourself or staying with someone special. I would love to visit again!
