Last time we visited during a hot season, so this time we came by train hoping to see snow. The area around the Accommodation was just as we’d hoped, with beautiful snowy scenery. We walked through the snow in the spacious garden (the fluffy cold-weather gear provided in the Room was incredibly useful), lit a fire in the Room and enjoyed the sauna, and had fun with some grown-up “playing with fire,” like making a bonfire and roasting marshmallows. Time flew by. I’m still kicking myself for missing out on the baumkuchen. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the staff were kind—overall it was a wonderful stay. We’d love to come again.
まやまんぼ 2/16/2026We stayed here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday.She wanted to relax somewhere away from the crowds, so we made a Reservation at Fuuri, which we’d been interested in for a while because of the Room with a sauna.After arriving at the Room, we lit the tent sauna right away and started a campfire as well. It was her first time seeing a campfire up close, and she couldn’t take her eyes off it.She really enjoyed it.The sauna temperature was pleasantly gentle—perfect for two—and we were able to enjoy it until late at night.The Onsen was spacious and felt almost private, and the food was delicious. They also surprised us with a birthday dessert plate after dinner.Everything exceeded our expectations. We definitely want to stay again. Thank you very much.
