This was my 10th stay. I have been coming here since before the Great Earthquake, and the meals have never failed to meet my expectations. This time, I was told it might be a bit noisy because a group was staying and there would be many children, but it wasn’t like that at all—I was able to relax in peace as usual. It’s about 10–15 minutes by taxi from Matsushima-Kaigan Station, and the view of Matsushima Bay right in front of you—and its tranquility—is wonderful. I took a walk to the cape in the evening, and just as the sun was setting, a “sun road,” like a moon road, reflected beautifully on the sea.
