We stayed here for a trip to Hakone to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday.The Room was spacious and comfortable, with a direct view of Mt. Fuji, and every dish at the French dinner was excellent. My mother was truly delighted, and we were very satisfied.Although it was a bit small, it was also great to be able to use the large public bath at such a luxury Hotel.(At Fujiya Hotel, there was only the in-room bathroom.)

Superior Twin Room on the Top Floor
The Hotel's only 4-bedroom "Premium Fours" has been newly established. Featuring blue accents reminiscent of a lake, it offers a spacious and open atmosphere. The top-floor Superior Twin room has been transformed into an art gallery-like space, offering breathtaking views of Lake Ashi that feel like a landscape painting.
Lakeview Lounge "Il Lago" now features terrace seating. Enjoy sweets and light meals while admiring the view of Lake Ashi.
With the renewal, a newly established guest-only space allows you to freely enjoy coffee, tea, cocoa, matcha latte, and soft drinks during your stay. Pick up your favorite book and spend a relaxing time surrounded by nature.

Fujiya Hotel
Founded in 1878 as Japan's first full-scale Resort Hotel in Miyanoshita, Hakone, Fujiya Hotel has a rich history. In 1997, many of its buildings were designated as Registered Tangible Cultural Properties. After over two years of extensive renovations, the "new" Fujiya Hotel reopened in 2020. Every Room is equipped with a bathroom featuring natural Onsen water from Miyanoshita, allowing guests to enjoy an Onsen bath in the comfort of their own Room.
