Hakone Fura

Although it is a small Hotel with only six Rooms, I was very satisfied. This year I have visited Hakone four times. I stayed at different Hotels, starting with Miyanosita Fujiya Hotel. Each has its own strengths, but this one has fewer Rooms and feels a bit old; however, it is quiet both inside the building and during meals. The staff were very attentive, the food was delicious, and I left feeling refreshed and happy. The men’s bath is small, but you can reserve it for private use and also use the women’s bath, so it was more than sufficient. Thank you very much.

I was extremely satisfied, as delicious food is the most important factor for me when choosing an Accommodation. Especially for those who love Japanese cuisine, I was deeply impressed by the careful seasoning and presentation—like kaiseki—as well as the beautiful tableware. The drinks were also excellent. I thought I knew Hakone well, but I realized I didn’t truly understand its terrain; the magnificent view overlooking Owakudani took me by surprise. Every Facility was clean and comfortable, and I wasn’t bothered at all by noise from other Rooms or conversations in the dining area, which made for a wonderful trip. As for the baths… in the smaller one, it would be nice if the window were a bit lower so you could enjoy the view. Please consider it through crowdfunding! Still, the water was great. With a small team taking care of guests, it felt warm and personal rather than manual-driven, and it made me want to return again. Thank you very much.
