It was excellent.
It was my first time staying here, and I’d love to come back at least once a month. The only downside is that it can be hard to get a Reservation. I definitely want to stay again!

A Beautiful and Delicious Auberge
A secluded auberge with only six rooms. The newly renovated rooms are clean and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay. Each dish is carefully prepared, offering flavors so delicious that you can't stop eating even when you're full. Highlights include the Ise lobster sukiyaki and black wagyu fillet steak for him, and the grilled alfonsino on magnolia leaf with winter yellowtail rice for her—each one an absolute delight. The abalone soup was also impressively tender. Visiting during the full bloom of Kawazu cherry blossoms at Yamamoto Weir would make your stay even more exceptional. The concise explanations and polite, professional service were outstanding as well.

Exceptional hospitality in every aspect
It was a pleasure to visit again. The staff's hospitality, the meals at the auberge, and the beautifully organized guest rooms make this a place I want to return to more and more with each visit. Next time, I plan for a Multiple Night Stay. Looking forward to it!

Thank you for the wonderful time during my stay. The accommodation is in a central location yet offers a calm atmosphere, allowing me to enjoy my time without encountering other guests often, which was very pleasant. The room, ambiance, and meals were all excellent, with the meals leaving a particularly strong impression. However, regarding customer service, I felt it lacked the level of satisfaction expected for the price. While interactions were polite and professional, I believe more personalized care or guidance would have made the experience even more comfortable. For dinner, I was informed it would take about two hours and requested a 7 PM start; however, there was a mismatch between serving times and dining pace. This led to feeling rushed due to time constraints towards the end of dinner. If an earlier start at 6 PM had been suggested beforehand, I could have enjoyed it at a more relaxed pace. At breakfast as well, clearer explanations about what to expect after being seated would have helped avoid any confusion. Overall clarity in communication during guidance—perhaps speaking slightly louder or more distinctly—could enhance guests' sense of ease and comfort. Since both the accommodation and meals are so appealing on their own merits, improving customer service further could elevate guest satisfaction significantly. I look forward to seeing these improvements in future stays!

You can enjoy a quiet and relaxing time in an elegant space.
No matter how good the hardware is, if the software fails, it’s all for nothing—and vice versa. At first, I felt a bit disappointed with the foreign staff's reception and their service during dinner. While they were doing their best with smiles and effort, their scripted responses left something to be desired. However, just when I thought this was unavoidable, there was a change in staff! Mr. T took over and completely turned things around. He intuitively understood our needs and provided explanations in his own words—smoothly and naturally—which made everything feel more genuine! Suddenly, the meal became even more delicious (it was already excellent to begin with). It’s amazing how great service can elevate an experience so much! It had been a long time since I experienced such exceptional hospitality. To top it off, he mentioned that he would also be handling breakfast the next morning—what a delightful surprise! He casually shared that some repeat guests specifically request him by name—and I can absolutely see why. And to think he’s still in his early 20s! Thanks to him, we enjoyed an incredibly comfortable time and space during our stay. That said, there were minor disappointments: no one was at the front desk during checkout—we simply left our key behind—and voices from neighboring rooms could be heard while soaking in the open-air bath due to structural design (though this is understandable). If neighboring guests are noisy, it might detract from the experience. This accommodation offers such high-quality spaces; I hope they continue welcoming guests who appreciate its value moving forward. I definitely want to visit again!

The purpose of this ...
The purpose of this trip was to enjoy delicious food and relax. After finishing work the day before, we stayed one night in Kisarazu and then visited this accommodation the next day. From the moment we parked our car, we were greeted by smiling staff, which immediately showed us that this was a wonderful accommodation. The meals were fantastic—visually delightful, delicious to taste, and absolutely superb in flavor. We relaxed in the open-air bath in our room, and every aspect of this accommodation was flawless. We are truly grateful to all the staff for providing such a wonderful experience. We will visit again for more relaxation... Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

It was great!
There were many complimentary drinks and snacks, and the staff promptly came to pick us up as soon as we arrived at the parking lot. The explanation of the Room was detailed, and their hospitality was exceptional with very attentive service! The meals were perfectly portioned and delicious. They also accommodated allergies. The Onsen and sauna were very relaxing! The Room was so spacious that it felt too large for just two people, which made our stay extremely satisfying! It turned out to be a great refreshing getaway—thank you very much!

The perfect space and time!
It was a wonderful accommodation where we felt hospitality and thoughtfulness throughout our stay. Even though I don't have allergies, they kindly accommodated ingredients I am not fond of, and both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious! The room was clean, and the open-air bath was fantastic. At the end, we were deeply moved when they waved goodbye until our car disappeared from sight. However, I embarrassingly realized I had left a shirt in the room's closet and had to return... But thanks to their prompt call right after checkout to check for forgotten items, I was able to retrieve it without any issues. They were so considerate even during that time—thank you so much! This is an exceptional accommodation where you'd want to visit again with someone special. Highly recommended!

It was the best accommodation.
I booked this accommodation because I wanted to enjoy a sauna with my partner, and it came up in my search for accommodations with private saunas. The sauna, complete with a cold bath and outdoor air bath, was fantastic, but the quality and quantity of the meals exceeded all expectations. Initially, I chose the meal-inclusive plan thinking "why not," but looking back, I'm so glad I did. While the price is on the higher side, it offers satisfaction well worth it. Highly recommended!

While the facility is nearly flawless as an accommodation, dinner service may take up to three hours due to operational flow or service speed, making it more suitable for those who prefer leisurely dining. As often seen in similar establishments, the service during meals can feel overly attentive, which might not appeal to guests seeking a more unobtrusive experience. Overall, this property successfully combines elements of city hotel luxury with traditional charm. However, there is potential for further development in showcasing local culture and promoting sustainability through its historic roots and locally sourced offerings. Truly relaxing!
Booked three days in advance, drawn by the garden, open-air bath, and appealing meals. The well-maintained garden with hydrangeas was beautiful from the entrance. Feeling tired, the serene atmosphere was soothing to the eyes. The care put into maintaining the property is impressive! The staff's kind guidance perfectly matched the tranquil ambiance. Meals were served in a private room, though it was slightly noisy due to surrounding voices. The dishes were beautifully presented with lovely colors and were deliciously enjoyable. Watching how the garden changed over time and even spotting fireflies made for a memorable experience—I've never spent so long in an open-air bath before! It truly allowed me to relax both body and mind... I'm so glad I found this place!

A Heartwarming Gourmet Accommodation
We had a relaxing stay from check-in to check-out. The meals were thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. The birthday plate for my husband was beautifully presented, and he was delighted. After dinner, we refreshed ourselves in the open-air bath and sauna. In the lounge, we enjoyed ice cream, read books, and each family member spent time as they liked, fully enjoying our stay at Tokinone. We look forward to visiting again to try the monthly changing meals. We felt a bit reluctant to leave as you waved us off until the very end. It was an accommodation where we could enjoy every moment comfortably. Thank you very much!

It was excellent.
A Japanese-style auberge, truly relaxing. We chose a room with a sauna and enjoyed it multiple times. The drinks in the room were well-stocked, and I could feel improved blood circulation. The fresh greenery in the garden, birdsong, gentle breeze, and sunlight were all very pleasant. As for the meals, needless to say, both quality and quantity were outstanding. Both my husband and I love tableware; we often use antique or artisan pieces at home, but we thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience here with beautiful leaf arrangements as well. All the staff members were exceptionally kind and made our stay very relaxing. We were deeply touched when they kept waving goodbye during our departure. We would love to visit again!

Thank you very much for another wonderful experience. I have been visiting Onsen accommodations in the Kanto region, but it was unfortunate that I couldn't find a favorite accommodation in Chiba Prefecture. Being close to the city center and offering a Japanese-style auberge experience, I look forward to visiting every time. With each visit, facilities like the coffee corner have improved, and I deeply appreciate the continuous efforts of the management team. Thank you so much. The sauna is also available, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing stay after stopping by places like the outlet mall, Mother Farm, and German Village. This time, I am grateful that even the owner personally helped carry my luggage. I hope more people will visit Chiba Prefecture in the future. I am looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommended!
The cherry blossoms at Tateyama Castle were in full bloom, but due to rain, strong winds, and low temperatures on both the way there and back, we couldn't go anywhere as I was with my elderly mother. However, the wonderful accommodation saved our trip. For elderly people, the most challenging thing is being rushed. From walking to changing shoes, the pace of conversation, and even the timing of serving meals—everything was handled with thoughtful care and kindness. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented with vibrant colors that allowed us to enjoy a sense of flower viewing through the dishes we couldn't experience outside. The tatami flooring had underfloor heating for added comfort. The shower room was equipped with heating as well, ensuring a relaxing stay for seniors. Even the bathwater temperature seemed perfectly adjusted for outdoor use—truly delightful!

The Best Accommodation
We stayed in a room with a sauna. The atmosphere of the room, the amenities, and above all, the food were exceptional. The presentation was visually delightful, and everything was delicious. Two disappointing customer service experiences...
A much-anticipated family trip During dinner, after the chef's greeting, we were handed the drink menu by Staff A (male). However, as the first dish arrived quickly, we couldn't place our drink order. While waiting to order drinks, the second dish was brought by Staff B (male). We had planned to start with a toast but found ourselves in an unexpected situation where we ordered drinks only after the second dish was served. Staff A left after handing over the menu without taking our order, and Staff B focused solely on serving dishes. As a result, our drinks arrived while finishing the first dish and eating the second one. *Disappointing① Setting aside that the bath was unexpectedly small—when requesting morning Shuttle Service from a front desk staff member (male), I mentioned wanting to leave at 9:20 AM to catch a 9:40 AM train. The response was: "If there's traffic, you might not make it on time; if you're late, Ryokan cannot take responsibility... If you're okay with that understanding, we'll send you at 9:20." Honestly, is such a comment about responsibility necessary here? I would have preferred something like: "Since today is [day of week], there might be traffic; I recommend leaving at 9:10 for peace of mind." That kind of standard response would have made heading to the station more pleasant. *Disappointing② This is my first time experiencing two major disappointments like this...

It was a truly wonderful time.
We went on a trip as a couple, and it was wonderful. The meals were very delicious, plentiful, and even included a late-night snack. The private open-air Onsen in the room was very clean and provided warmth that reached deep into the body. The hospitality was impeccable, and we would love to visit again for another special occasion.

A luxurious space to enjoy an extraordinary experience
I stayed with my elderly mother and had a wonderful experience. The meals were visually stunning and absolutely delicious, the private open-air bath was at the perfect temperature for a relaxing soak, and the staff provided exceptionally kind and attentive service (everyone working there was incredibly friendly!). The smart TVs in both the living room and bedroom allowed access to Netflix and TVer, making it easy to relax comfortably in the room. It was truly an outstanding accommodation. I would love to visit again for another special occasion.

Satisfied!
The service was polite and perfectly balanced, making for a pleasant stay. The meals were delicious, and the lounge offered coffee and Häagen-Dazs, as well as late-night snacks—truly abundant offerings. The only downside was that the air conditioning was too strong (though I'm sure this could have been resolved by asking the staff). I had a relaxing and leisurely time!

Recommended for guests who appreciate Japanese style.
The Room atmosphere and the meals were absolutely wonderful! The iburigakko cheese, sweet potato paste, and the evening manju we received as in-Room service were especially delicious. From the restaurant entrance, there was a gentle incense fragrance, and there were many moments that truly made us feel we were in Japan. It was great to discover such a lovely space not too far from the city center.

Visiting for a birthday
I love private open-air baths and saunas, so I stayed in a Room with both. I was impressed by the beautiful garden and delicious meals, but I felt there were several issues: the kamaboko-shaped bathtub is uncomfortable for two people, the sauna power turns off after six hours and the controls are complicated, the straw-grilled beef at dinner was gritty as if the ash hadn’t been brushed off, overall the charm of a traditional house didn’t really come through, and there were many areas where explanations were insufficient.

Healing Onsen
The bath in the room was spacious enough to stretch my legs and relax. The room is a calming traditional Japanese house style, but it was nice to have underfloor heating and internet TV. Above all, the meals were incredibly delicious, making it a property I would definitely like to use again.
