倉敷皇家藝術飯店

From the moment I stepped into the entrance, I was thrilled by the stunning marble and artistic atmosphere. Even before entering my Room, the lobby and elevators felt full of history and were exciting. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and I really enjoyed it. I also appreciated that the bath and toilet were separate. It’s a Hotel I would like to stay at again.At the breakfast buffet, however, the waiter didn’t seem to do anything. Trays and plates were left on tables, so it was difficult to find space for newly picked-up dishes.

I stayed here for the first time in decades, and I was very satisfied with the same great service and hospitality as before. The Facility is a bit dated, but it was very clean, and it was convenient to be able to pick up amenities freely at the front desk. It’s just a few minutes on foot to the Bikan Historical Quarter, there’s a convenience store nearby, and it’s about a 10-minute walk from Kurashiki Station. The Ohara Museum of Art was under renovation, but I was glad I could still buy museum souvenirs in a small corner shop. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Kurashiki has many Business Hotels, but surprisingly few Hotels where you can truly relax while sightseeing, so I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to unwind at the Hotel.
