Kaneyoshi Ittouan

Stayed on March 22 After the entrance exams, we took a family trip to celebrate. This time, traveling from Shuzenji to Imaihama, we stayed at Ittoan. We had never stayed at such an upscale Ryokan before, so we were truly impressed by the cuisine and the thoughtful hospitality of everyone there. We were able to relax and fully enjoy the Onsen. The alfonsino at dinner and the chef’s local hot pot were gentle, exquisite dishes. Next time, we’d like to visit as a couple. It was a wonderful trip—thank you very much.

All staff were kind, and we had a great first impression from the moment we were welcomed. In the lounge, you can freely choose stylish cups, and I found myself debating which one to use each time.The Room shows its age in some places, but it was very clean, and I loved the tea incense burner.Because there aren’t too many Rooms, the bath felt almost private—I hardly ran into other guests. The hot spring water left my skin silky smooth, so I used it many times.Dinner was generous in portion size, and everything from the appetizers onward was delicious. The simmered golden eye snapper was very large with thick flesh, and the seasoning—flavorful but not too strong—was perfect. The local dish “Igenda-ni” (?) also had a variety of ingredients and ended up being my favorite.Breakfast was of course delicious as well, and it made me want to book a Multiple Night Stay.Next time, I’d like to bring my father too.
