Nasushiobara Ichimantei

This was my first time using this service. Most of the staff were foreigners, but I was impressed by their attentiveness and greetings. When I checked out and left the Room, they thanked me with a loud voice even from a distance. I felt that their training is excellent.

This hotel reflects the thoughtful care of its staff. The bath amenities are exceptional, including a bath basket (rare but very helpful), and four types of products in the bathroom: cleansing oil, face wash, peeling gel, and face masks. The meals were also impressive; even five minutes before closing time, sushi was replenished properly. There was an extensive variety of dishes such as soy milk hot pot, all-you-can-eat crab, and a buffet with more options than one could possibly try. The three types of ice cream were particularly delicious—better than any other hotel I’ve stayed at. I also enjoyed the welcome treats like meat buns and sweets as well as the nighttime soup yakisoba. It was my first time trying soup yakisoba after being curious about it for a while.The private baths and karaoke reservations are managed innovatively with hooks on a board near the counter unveiled at 3 PM for guests to place their tags on preferred timeslots. While waiting in line, I had friendly conversations with other guests about our preferred times without overlapping requests—it created a warm atmosphere.Some staff members were from overseas; though there were minor communication challenges or small misunderstandings (like being told Room 1 is at the back when it’s actually closer to the front), their dedication made these details insignificant. Even if they seemed slightly reserved at times, it felt like they were focused on doing their best in an unfamiliar country—I found myself wanting to cheer them on.During dinner service, some staff reminded others about coffee orders multiple times—not as complaints but likely out of concern that guests might not have noticed yet. I hope this positive intent is understood by everyone involved.In the morning, there were moments when amenities like hot water in lobby pots or body soap ran out temporarily—but considering how much attention is required for everything overall—it didn’t bother me at all! Everything else exceeded expectations so much that I gave full marks across all aspects.To all hardworking staff members: managing everything must be challenging away from home—please take care of yourselves and keep up your amazing efforts!
