HOTEL AZ Nagano Saku IC Branch

I’ve stayed here many times, and even after the price increase it still feels like a great value. The Room is clean, and the amenities are good as well. I usually leave before 5 a.m., so I’ve never tried the free breakfast, but considering breakfast is included, the cost performance is excellent.

This was our first stay at AZ. We arrived the day before to visit a nearby Facility early the next morning. We planned to leave as soon as work ended, but bad weather caused delays and we might not have arrived until after 11:00 p.m. When we contacted the Hotel, they kindly told us it would be fine because someone would be there until late at night.We managed to check in and head to our Room. We knew at the time of Reservation that it had a wooden double-size bunk bed, but it did feel quite cramped. Since we weren’t staying long, it didn’t bother us much.The breakfast buffet was far better than grabbing breakfast from a convenience store—warm rice and miso soup at a reasonable price, plus mentaiko and mackerel as rice toppings. It was excellent.The Hotel staff were also pleasant. Even though it was a short stay, we would definitely return.
