Hotel Shikimi

It was an Accommodation that truly reflected the local character of Takachiho.Dinner was full of local flavors and delicious. The atmosphere was also wonderful. The Room and bath were kept very clean. I’m glad I stayed at this Accommodation.

My husband and I enjoy taking a trip together once a year. This was our first time visiting Miyazaki.The Hotel was truly beautiful and wonderful.The stylish Room, delicious meals, and courteous service made us want to extend our stay.We were deeply impressed by the stained glass in the lobby, the self-serve coffee, the folk songs at dinner, and the flowers添えられた to the morning menu—there were thoughtful touches everywhere.Knowing they weren’t store-bought flowers, but ones the staff likely took time to pick themselves… made us even more grateful.Since other guests were in the large public bath, it felt a bit difficult to use, so we used the bath in our Room instead. It was so clean that we were able to enjoy a luxurious shower time on our own.In the morning, we woke up feeling calm as we could hear Japanese bush warblers singing outside.We also truly appreciated the Shuttle Service to Yokagura and the souvenirs.We would love to stay again.Until that day comes someday, we wish all of you on staff continued good health.We enjoyed the souvenir rice balls and tea—they were delicious.Thank you for such a peaceful time.
