I was happy that I could use the baths at Takimoto Daiichi-kan, and it was clean, reasonably priced, and great overall. If I come to Noboribetsu Onsen again, I’d think this is all I need. The underground bath was especially nice. However, it’s only available from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, so I realized after 9:30 PM and rushed over.I added breakfast, and with a 1,350-yen roast beef sandwich and a 600-yen coffee, it was a luxurious start to the morning! The quality and taste were excellent—I was very satisfied. It was a lovely cafe where I could relax.One downside: the in-Room safe was broken and couldn’t be used.

The lobby features a wood stove, filling the space with the pleasant aroma of burning wood. You can use the Onsen and dining facilities at the Hotel across the street, which were absolutely fantastic. The dishes made with local ingredients, including seafood, gratin, meat and potato stew, cheesecake, and soft serve ice cream, were exceptional. There are frequent buses running from Noboribetsu Station to the Onsen town. Nearby conveniences include several convenience stores and drugstores, making it very convenient. The Bear Park is also within walking distance.
