I stayed here solo for a live concert trip. I had a Reservation for a Standard Double, but they kindly offered to change it to the Ladies’ Room free of charge since there was availability, which I really appreciated. The large public bath had a good Panasonic hair dryer, and although I didn’t use them this time, they also offer free late-night soba and ice cream—great services that made the stay very comfortable. It’s a bit of a walk from Ikebukuro Station, but there’s a convenience store nearby and the service was excellent, so I’d like to stay here again when I come to Tokyo.

I have stayed here many times, and I’m always impressed by the courteous and warm hospitality. This time, since there was availability, I was shown to the ladies-only floor, and I was able to spend the night comfortably and safely until morning. Thank you very much. The location is excellent, and I’m always comforted by the kind and attentive service from all the staff. When booking a Hotel in Ikebukuro, this is my only choice. I will definitely continue to stay here!

This is a calm and relaxing Hotel near Ikebukuro Station. Perhaps because of the location, many international guests stay here, but the staff were kind and helpful, and I had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet also offered a wide variety of options, and it made for a very satisfying day. I would like to stay here again next time.

The Facilities and amenities are excellent, and the staff service is outstanding as well. I especially loved that you can get free supplements. If I stay in Ikebukuro again, I’ll choose this place or one of its affiliated properties!

This is an excellent Business Hotel, including the location. It doesn’t feel particularly old within reasonable expectations. For this price, the Room, the bed, and the delicious breakfast are all great—and the staff’s smiles and service are truly wonderful. I accidentally damaged an item in the Room and paid for it in the morning. Even after that, they continued to treat me kindly with a smile and even offered to lend me alternative amenities... I’m very sorry. Thank you very much. (Hotel Route-Inn Ikebukuro is definitely a great Hotel!! I also stay at city hotels. If you can’t be satisfied at this price point, I recommend a city hotel or a Business Hotel that costs twice as much.)

Because there was availability, I was able to stay on the ladies-only floor. Both the room and the women’s bath had ReFa hair dryers. The numbering for Ikebukuro Station’s underground exits was hard to understand, and since the Hotel has two entrances, I got a little lost at first. However, when I went out after check-in, I realized that a subway exit is right next to one of the entrances.

I checked in during heavy rain. Towels were placed at the Hotel entrance with a sign saying “Please feel free to use them,” which made me very happy. I was able to use a towel, and it really helped. The Room was also very comfortable, and the bathroom, toilet, and sink area were all easy to use. I would like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here to see a stage performance at a nearby theater. It was not too close to the station and not too far, and the area around it was quiet. There is also a cafe on the first floor, so the location was great. The Room was spacious enough for one person, and it was clean. The staff at the front desk were polite, guided me to the elevator, and were smiling throughout, so I had a very comfortable stay. I would like to stay here again when I have plans such as seeing stage performances around Ikebukuro. Thank you very much.

I checked the room layout and made a Reservation for a Room where the TV would be easy to watch from the bed. In fact, it was very easy to watch. The TV was also large. They had set up a DVD player in advance as well. It was a very pleasant stay. There were no inconveniences. After checking out, I went sightseeing around Mejiro, and they stored my luggage during that time, which was very helpful. With a reasonable Accommodation Fee, it was excellent.

The room initially seemed small and uncomfortable based on the photos, but it turned out to be a pleasant stay. The view from the room's window was likely one of the reasons for this, as it felt open and not claustrophobic. The bathroom and toilet were indeed small and not very comfortable to use. However, there were no malfunctions, and as expected, the toilet had a bidet function. I'll give it full marks for that reason alone. It might be worth upgrading the showerhead to something better since this is not a Business Hotel. Adding an odor-eliminating feature to the toilet could also improve things further. A slightly larger TV screen in the room would have been better since it's not very clear when viewed from the bed. I used my own DVDs with a DVD player provided in the room and watched Saariaho's "L'Amour de Loin" and Pergolesi's "Adriano in Siria." The soundproofing of the room could be improved as some ambient noise from outside was audible, though it wasn't overly disruptive—just enough to keep my volume low while watching movies or listening to music. The room was clean with a comfortable bed, offering no major inconveniences; however, overall it felt comparable to a Business Hotel standard. Some high-end Business Hotels even offer better rooms than this one—with more functional TVs, air purifiers readily available, or accessory trays provided. For its price point, I found the room somewhat lacking; however, what truly stands out about this hotel is its excellent location—it’s directly connected to Sunshine City shopping complex! The hotel's interior design is stylish overall; having well-stocked convenience store items nearby adds value too! The view from my upgraded higher-grade Room (thanks due-to availability) especially shines at night-time scenery-wise! Elevators are plentiful so waiting times aren’t frustrating either! Breakfast buffet quality-wise rates average yet unique inclusion like buckwheat galettes stood-out positively amongst offerings! In conclusion: While pricing may lean towards expensive-side relatively speaking—this accommodation excels primarily thanks-to unbeatable location alongside stunning nighttime views

We stayed for four nights for our junior high school entrance exams. The price was reasonable, so we were a little worried, but there were no issues at all. There were plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so we had no trouble with meals three times a day. We would like to stay here again if we have the opportunity.

It was very convenient to stay right in the heart of Ikebukuro’s downtown area, and we truly appreciated it. I expect to visit Ikebukuro again in the future, so we look forward to staying with you again.

The amenities were well provided, and the Room was clean and very comfortable. The Room itself is small, but it was just the right amount of space for a solo stay. The staff were also courteous and helpful. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

I always stay here and appreciate it. Overall I’m satisfied, but I’d be happy if a few things could be improved: - I’d like a mirror and a chair in the Room. Some Rooms have them and some don’t, but I’d like them in every Room. - Please replace the shower curtain with one that can be properly closed. - The front desk area is always hot. It’s hot whether I visit in winter or summer. On the positive side, I really appreciate that the Room slippers are now disposable! Please keep providing disposable slippers from now on as well!

Thank you for your hospitality. I stayed for three nights, and the staff were very kind and helpful. Above all, Ikebukuro is a convenient area with easy access to anywhere, and the Hotel is not too far from the station. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

After getting off the train, passing through the ticket gates, and coming up to street level, I saw the Hotel sign right in front of me. Checking in at the front desk and taking the elevator up to my Room floor was extremely convenient and really helpful. The train noise was a little noticeable, but that’s understandable given how close it is. For breakfast, I went to a nearby Komeda Coffee, which was more than enough. I had a relaxing stay.

I had a comfortable stay. Since I had to leave early for work, it was disappointing that I couldn’t have breakfast. If possible, I would appreciate it if breakfast could be available from 6:30 a.m. at the latest.

Overall, the accommodation was satisfactory. Suggestions for improvement: - The bathroom is slightly small. - The refrigerator does not cool properly. - Please provide post-shave skincare lotion in the amenities. That's all.

At this price, with a 12:00 checkout and breakfast included, I thought it was excellent. I worked remotely in the morning and was able to do so comfortably with the sofa and table provided. Since it's located in a busy area, whether that's a plus or not depends on the individual.
