A new building with free parking. Located right next to the station in a charming countryside area. It's surprising to find a Hotel in such a place. There’s a supermarket and McDonald's nearby, and I enjoyed buying local food to relax and eat in the Room. The Plan was No Meals Included, but breakfast was available for 600 yen, so I opted for it. The portions were generous and satisfying. A great Hotel overall!

It was a very cozy inn. The staff were calm and relaxed, yet attentive, considerate, and thoughtful, making it a comfortable place to stay. The building and furnishings were well-maintained, which contributed to the pleasant experience. The water facilities, in particular, were beautifully renovated, which was impressive. The garden was a bit cluttered, but I considered it charming and overlooked it with a smile. The meals did not compete in overwhelming luxury, but it was evident that attention was paid to the ingredients, dishes, and delicate flavors. We dined in a gallery, which felt a bit out of place. I would have preferred to appreciate the gallery as a gallery and have a designated dining area for meals. Due to my knee condition, I appreciated the provision of meals at a table with chairs. The pickled radish made by a staff member was very popular, conveying the familial atmosphere of Honkyo-kan. The bath had excellent water quality. The amber-colored water and smooth texture were quite pleasant. The indoor bath had more charm than the open-air bath. I hope for some improvement in the scenery of the open-air bath. Although I had some requests, the accommodation was reasonably priced for a stay during Golden Week, offering great value for money. If it were a bit closer, I would love to visit frequently. Thank you very much for your hospitality. There are famous hot springs nearby, such as Kaminoyama and Tendo, but I was fully satisfied with the excellent water quality, as recommended by a friend.
