I stayed at Marroad Hakone, a place I’d been curious about for a while. It was very relaxing and I had a wonderful time. The exterior, lobby, and restaurant feel classic and substantial, while the Room has been renovated—simple and functional. Until dinner, the lounge offered a free-flow drink service. I enjoyed making my own sparkling drinks and taking it slow with some finger foods while looking out at Mt. Daimonji. Above all, what deserves special mention is how delicious the food was. Each dish was both elegant and hearty, and everything—from the bread to the coffee—was excellent. Personally, my favorite was the rich chestnut-kabocha potage. For breakfast, I initially thought it might be a bit light, but it came with a croque monsieur alongside the main dish, so I ended up completely full. The bath was exactly what you’d expect from Gora Onsen. With its milky water and hydrogen sulfide scent, I stayed warm for a long time even after getting out. It eased all my travel fatigue—truly great therapeutic effects. The staff’s service also struck just the right balance of attentiveness and distance; it suited the Hotel perfectly. I’d love to visit again. For my own reference, notes on amenities: Shampoo: A KOSÉ product. It was my first time using this brand; it made my hair incredibly smooth and moisturized. I wanted to buy some as a souvenir but couldn’t find it in the shop. Loungewear: The selectable yukata are cute. It gets a little cold when sleeping, so bringing lightweight loungewear was the right call. Towels: Thick and fluffy. One towel is enough to dry both body and hair completely.

It feels a bit dated, but it was quiet and comfortable to stay.

All the staff provided excellent service, making our trip to Karuizawa a wonderful memory. The breakfast was delicious, and the room, a Japanese-Western style, was spacious and comfortable. We are very grateful for the prompt Shuttle Service to the station.

Stayed during New Year's with a family of four, using two Twin Rooms. It was a Plan with dinner and breakfast included. Dinner was a buffet at the 13th-floor restaurant where you can see airplanes, offering beautiful night views and delicious food for an extraordinary experience—absolutely satisfying! That night, snow was forecasted, so in the morning, the view outside was covered in snow, creating another stunning scenery! The shuttle bus to places like AEON Mall made it very convenient. We will definitely stay again!

Arriving late at night, we were welcomed with complimentary coffee—a thoughtful touch on a cold evening. The staff were kind and attentive. Breakfast was served buffet-style with plenty of seating, so we could dine at a relaxed pace. The menu selection was also satisfying.

When I made the Reservation, only smoking rooms were available, so I had no choice but to stay. Thanks to the deodorizing spray in the Room, the cigarette smell was kept under control over two days, and there was also an air purifier, so I managed somehow. I found two cigarette burn holes in the duvet. Since I was able to stay safely, I’ll consider it acceptable.

I used this place after visiting Metsä. After watching the fireworks at night, I took the bus to Hanno Station, got off at Chuo-dori Bus Stop, walked to Higashi-Hanno Station, passed through the passageway from the west exit to the east exit, and then walked for about 5-6 minutes. If using the free shuttle bus, you can get on and off at the east exit. The front desk staff were very pleasant, and while the Facility is not new, it was clean and provided a comfortable stay. There is a cute Moomin-themed space next to the entrance. Thank you very much! I would love to stay here again.

The Hotel has a slightly old feel but is clean, and the staff's service was pleasant. I used the dinner and takeout coffee services. The price range is affordable, with generous portions and elegant tableware, which even satisfied my daughter. It would be even better if there were a tea service. Conveniently located just 0 minutes from the station. Affordable stay and very satisfying!

The building feels old, but there is all-you-can-drink coffee and the staff's service was good. I'm not familiar with Tokyo, but it seems incredibly cheap to stay at this price in a location like Akasaka. If I have the opportunity to go to Tokyo again, I would like to use it again.
