The Room was spacious, and our grandchildren were delighted. Dinner was also excellent—the steak was tender and delicious. The late-night ramen was the perfect portion, with pleasantly chewy noodles, and tasted great. The staff were very kind and helpful. If I had to mention one thing, it was that the bath area was a bit far from the Room. We would like to visit again if we have the chance.

The views, the food, and the Onsen were all wonderful—we were very satisfied. Our Room was on the forest side, but we could also see the river. I especially recommend the view from the open-air bath. The close-up scenery of the river and forest never gets old. We even saw deer relaxing nearby. There are private baths as well as a large public bath, and our Room also had Onsen water, so we enjoyed trying different options. The temperature was comfortable for bathing. Afterward, we stayed warm without getting chilled, and our skin felt smooth. Every dish was delicious, with flavorful dashi-based seasoning. It seems like the menu changes by season, so I’d love to visit again. If I had one request, it would be that there is quite a lot of food—so I would appreciate a Plan with smaller portions. This time it was a family member’s birthday, so we chose an anniversary trip Plan. Since I don’t drink alcohol, I asked if the complimentary champagne could be changed to non-alcoholic—thank you very much for accommodating this request. The cake was delicious, they took a photo for us as well which became a great memory, and thank you for the birthday gift too. My family was very happy. This is an Accommodation I would definitely like to visit again.

I stayed on the 18th, and I asked twice to have photos taken at dinner. A tall, young male staff member kindly helped me. The spicy miso served as a side with the rice at dinner was very delicious. I would appreciate it if you could sell it at the shop.

We stayed in a triple Room on the 4th floor, chosen for the location and the building’s age. The Accommodation was clean, and the main areas are efficiently consolidated onto the front desk floor, dining floor, and large public bath floor—streamlined for better or worse. You carry your own baggage to the Room, but I felt a bit hesitant about rolling it along the tatami hallway. The view from the Room overlooked the ski slopes and a Lions Mansion building. The in-room bath has a bamboo blind, but privacy-conscious guests may still mind it. Meals offer selectable dishes and you can order additional items later, so the portions are incredibly generous. We also enjoyed a Japanese sake tasting with Tsururei and Kubota Senju at no extra charge. The large public bath is about what you’d expect for its scale, but there are various types of baths so it didn’t get boring. True to Kyoritsu style, there was late-night ramen and other enjoyable touches throughout. The next day we walked to Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort; they also provided reliable luggage storage, which was very helpful. Overall there’s little to fault, though it felt almost too optimized—giving it a bit of a business-hotel vibe. A luxurious complaint, though.

I have used your facilities at various locations, and I have been satisfied with the service and meals everywhere. I will continue to stay at your other locations in the future.

It was my first trip in a while. The staff were kind, the Ryokan had a wonderful atmosphere, the food was delicious, and the servers were lovely, so I was able to spend a relaxing and enjoyable time. Thank you very much. I would love to visit again.

We stayed for two nights on a family trip. We made a Reservation for a twin Room on a high floor with a view of Mt. Hakodate. The Room feels a bit dated, but it was spacious enough for two. The window side is set up like a counter, so you can fully enjoy the Mt. Hakodate view. The amenities and Facility were well stocked, and it was great to be able to grind beans and drink fresh coffee. There were Misuzu Coffee machines in the lobby and the breakfast venue as well. The large public bath is open all night, so being able to use it almost privately late at night was fantastic. They also provided body cream and other items, which was very helpful. Breakfast gets quite crowded, just as mentioned in Reviews. We went at a later time on a weekday and still waited about 20 minutes. There was a wide variety of dishes—seafood, grilled items, and plenty of desserts—and the menu changed during our Multiple Night Stay, so we enjoyed it even over consecutive days. I think this Hotel is highly recommended for anyone who wants to pack Hakodate’s sightseeing spots into a short stay!

First of all, thank you to the front desk staff for your courteous service from check-in onward. I carefully checked the weather forecast and decided there would be no snowfall, then hurriedly planned a trip to my beloved Hida Takayama and Okuhida. After leisurely enjoying the old town streets, I headed to the Accommodation and arrived around dusk—only to see white flakes falling from the sky. In the end, it worked out perfectly. The early-morning Onsen was a stunning open-air bath with snow viewing and a softly lit winter landscape. With no wind, I was able to enjoy a quiet moment all to myself and Clear away my daily fatigue and stress. The indoor bath also had a lovely interior and atmosphere, was beautifully cleaned, and I enjoyed a full hour—completely satisfied. The Yakult drink service in the post-bath lounge was another thoughtful touch; I ended up having three. Breakfast afterward was outstanding for someone who loves Japanese food—I had three large bowls of rice first thing in the morning. Hoba miso, “tsukemono steak,” kombu rolls, simmered ganmodoki, steamed vegetables, miso soup with fried tofu… And as if that weren’t enough, I even finished off some special curry rice. Now I’m slightly nervous about my next regular checkup with my hemoglobin A1c likely going up… On the way home I did some light exercise by strolling around Takayama again: Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the Takayama Festival Float Exhibition Hall, Hiroshige’s baumkuchen shop, a cat café, and more. This is an Accommodation I’d like to visit again anytime in any season—and one I truly hope to stay at again. Next time I’d love to try dinner as well. When I noticed the interior (tatami flooring?), it felt familiar—then I realized it’s part of the same group as Hida Hanazato no Yu Takayama Ouan. Once again, it struck me as a wonderful concept: clean and beautifully Japanese in style. Thank you very much.

We stayed with a plan offering free meals for toddlers. The interior of the hotel has a Nordic antique feel, and the service was excellent. Tea service at the bar, fried potato snacks, wine service, and more were delightful touches. The room even had a coffee grinding set, making our stay truly luxurious. The food was absolutely delicious, and alcoholic beverages were reasonably priced and easy to order. The Tokachi beef fillet steak, slow-cooked for hours, was incredibly tender and flavorful. The bread was also delicious—truly a blissful experience. Dinner was French cuisine but not overly formal; it was comfortable even with children around. The hotel staff were very kind and accommodating. Breakfast included tasty pork miso soup and unlimited salmon roe! Even in the morning, the meat dishes were fantastic! There was also an all-you-can-drink alcohol option (laughs). For those heading out for mountain climbing in the morning, it might be hard to resist this breakfast lineup... The Onsen's effects weren't immediately noticeable but left my skin feeling smooth afterward. We also tried the private bath—it offered a relaxing experience though it felt slightly hot. It would be great if there were activities starting directly from the hotel as well! I’d love to stay again regularly during autumn, winter or summer seasons!

This Accommodation offers a wide range of services, and we were very satisfied. We felt it was a great value, including the in-room bath and snacks!

Stayed in a Japanese-style twin room with my daughter for two nights. The first surprise was the wide variety of free drinks at dinner! There were many options, including draft beer, sake, and shochu. The individual meal trays were plentiful, and there was also a buffet with side dishes and desserts that were visually delightful. Moreover, the dinner on the second night featured an entirely different menu from the first night. While the breakfast buffet remained the same, grilled horse mackerel was served separately. The Onsen experience was relaxing and very satisfying. A shuttle bus to Yubatake made sightseeing convenient as well. The staff provided kind and attentive service throughout our stay. I would love to visit again!

It’s easy to get to the beach. I was able to relax very well. I enjoyed watching the aquarium in the entrance. It was nice to be a little away from the bustle of American Village. It’s convenient—just a 5-minute walk to Chatan Gateway. The Onsen is also close by, and soaking twice a day, morning and evening, helped relieve my fatigue. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

The service from all staff—including the front desk and housekeeping—was excellent. All the meals were delicious, and I personally couldn’t stop eating the squid somen. The hot spring water was silky-smooth. The private bath available without a Reservation was especially appreciated. This isn’t related to the Hotel, but the omurice at the nearby “Coffee House Jun” was outstanding. Overall, it was a very satisfying trip.

At check-in, I was shocked to hear that dinner was on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 8:30 PM. However, I managed to adjust it to a time that suited me. It seems the reason was due to a group booking... Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the staff in charge were kind, which led me to overeat! If not for the bear warnings, I would have enjoyed a morning walk, but I decided to refrain for safety reasons.

This was my second stay, and my first since the renovation. Above all, the staff’s smiles and thoughtful hospitality were wonderful, and I felt truly relaxed. The private bath and the Room had also been renovated, which was great. There was a wide variety of food, and the highlight for me was the lava-grilled Kuroge Wagyu beef—it was absolutely delicious. For breakfast, I could choose between a Japanese set meal or a Western set meal, which I really appreciated. The baths—including the open-air bath and sauna—had been renovated as well, and they were soothing both physically and mentally. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again on my next trip.

We stayed here for a trip with our children. Since we had a baby with us, they kindly prepared items like a bouncer and child chairs for meals. The Room had diaper disposal bags, which was very helpful. The hallway was covered with tatami mats, making it great for kids to walk around. We also enjoyed post-bath ice cream and late-night ramen, which added to our satisfaction.

Second visit in 4 years. I couldn't forget the taste of the roast beef from my last stay, so I decided to return. The roast beef was exceptional again this time, and the other dishes were also delicious. The breakfast buffet exceeded other hotels in both quantity and quality. We enjoyed the bath and golf course as well, leaving us as a couple in our late 50s completely satisfied.

I was surprised by the unexpectedly high number of international guests. The front desk staff seemed busy but handled everything professionally—thank you. It was my first time experiencing tatami flooring indoors; whether it was real or synthetic, it was clean and left a good impression. The hotel was quiet, and although I didn’t have a meal, the Takayama ramen served as the late-night soba was very popular and delicious. I also appreciated being able to use the on-site parking. The onsen was peaceful and absolutely wonderful. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

I visited for my boyfriend's birthday trip. We were both looking forward to the five private baths and the meals. The fact that we could use the private baths as many times as we wanted, 24 hours a day, was amazing! They also allowed us to exchange towels anytime! The complimentary ice cream and tea service were fantastic too! All the meals were beautifully presented and incredibly delicious! They even prepared a birthday plate, which made my boyfriend so happy! I was also thrilled when they turned our leftover rice into rice balls for us!!! The staff member who assisted us during dinner was lovely, easy to talk to, and even took photos of us together—thank you so much for that! When I asked at the front desk if they had a needle and thread because one of my buttons came off, they kindly brought me a sewing kit—it was such a big help!!! This trip left me completely satisfied beyond words!!!! I definitely want to visit again!!
