This was our second stay at Kamenoi Hotel Izu Kogen, and once again we stayed in the Premium Terrace Twin Room with an open-air bath, just like last time. The drink corner had an expanded selection, including alcoholic beverages that weren’t available before, along with cheesecake and nuts, which we really enjoyed.

This is our third visit. Both the kids and the adults love it. It’s rare for our family to stay at the same Hotel three times, which shows how much we like it. The pool is spacious, with plenty of sun loungers and many staff by the poolside, so even though we never take our eyes off the children, we feel very safe. It’s also a great bonus that you can reach the beach right next door in just a few seconds on foot. We’ll be back again in September.

The breakfast offered a variety of options, enjoyable for three generations, and was very delicious. Since I use a cane, I was cautious about the steps in the Room's bathroom and the stairs at the back entrance from the parking lot, but everything else including the front desk, elevator, and Room was comfortable. I would love to stay here again.

This was my first time staying at a Hotel with my dog, and I was very satisfied with how dog-friendly it was. The meals were delicious to me, and the Room was clean, so I had a wonderful holiday. If I have any friends going to Lake Yamanaka, I would definitely recommend it. Thank you very much!

We stayed in a 10-tatami Japanese-style Room, and it was very spacious and clean. The staff were also very kind, which made our stay pleasant. The meals were delicious, and we were very satisfied. Our dog also seemed happy and relaxed. Unfortunately it rained, but the Hotel has an indoor dog run, so we felt at ease. We would definitely like to stay again.

Since April 14 was our Shiba Inu’s birthday, you kindly prepared an unexpected birthday gift, a cake, and more. We were both delighted and truly grateful for your thoughtful hospitality. Unfortunately, it rained and we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful scenery, but we were able to let our dog play in the indoor dog run. Also, because of the rain we arrived much earlier than the check-in time, yet you welcomed us warmly and kindly, which was a great help. We would love to visit again on a sunny day and use the outdoor dog run. The Facility was also very clean, and we had a comfortable stay.

Perhaps it was thanks to my continued efforts—such as accompanying my husband on his business trips—to remain a Diamond member. I often see Reviews saying, “They upgraded our Room,” but this time they prepared an unbelievable Room for us, and I was moved throughout the entire stay. The view from the Room was simply spectacular: by day, a sweeping ocean view complemented by the greens of the golf course; by night, a sky full of stars and scenery so captivating I never tired of it—I was truly amazed. In the end, we only went between our Room, Tsukuyomi, the dining venues, and the lounge (just to see all the staff’s smiles), yet we still felt we fully enjoyed Seagaia. We’ve only just returned home, but we’re already looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for such wonderful memories.

I thought I had booked dinner, but on the day I realized it was breakfast only and panicked. The Hotel staff responded immediately and arranged it for me.\nI have visited various Wanpara locations, but Hamamatsu is the most relaxing, and everyone is very kind. This will be my fifth visit during Golden Week, and I would like to stay again.

As expected from a Hotel specialized for dogs, everyone was very kind to them. It was unfortunate that the private dog run couldn't be used due to the rain. The bath was spacious and comfortable, but it was disappointing that there was no drinking water in the changing rooms of both the men's and women's baths. Both the evening kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious. I would love to visit again. The woman at the front desk was extremely kind—thank you!

This was our first stay, and we visited with three dogs and four family members. The staff were courteous and left a great impression! Near the entrance and by the dog run, there were poop bags, towels for wiping paws, and other essentials. The indoor dog run on the second floor had dog diapers/belly bands available, and each floor was stocked with pee pads—so it was so well equipped that we hardly needed to bring anything for our dogs. The food was delicious, and the pudding at the breakfast buffet was especially outstanding. There were both indoor baths and an open-air bath; the temperature was just right, and areas like the changing room were kept very clean. We’d love to stay again.

The walking trails around the Hotel are wonderful. The forests at the foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains and the sound of wind through the bamboo grass were very soothing. The starry sky at night was truly beautiful. We enjoyed a relaxed dinner in the main dining room, and had a hearty breakfast as well. It’s not an Onsen, but the Room bath faces the woods and was lovely. It’s a classic Hotel, and we had a great holiday.

I always enjoy staying here whenever I visit Ishigaki Island! The casual live performances starting at 8 PM are one of the highlights for me! The bath and sauna are also perfect for relieving travel fatigue. This time, I stayed for three nights and had a very relaxing experience. I spent my afternoons like a local—reading and napping at the library, visiting the port to greet the statue of Mr. Gushiken, then returning to my Room in the evening to enjoy an Orion Beer while gazing at Taketomi Island as the day peacefully came to an end. Staying at your relaxing Hotel is always something I look forward to! I’ll be back again soon!

We chose this Hotel because it is close to the station, has a large public bath, and offers two dining venues. Our family was very satisfied. The all-you-can-eat seafood was great, and the sushi rice was delicious. Of course, there was also a wide variety of other dishes, which we enjoyed. The Onsen was very relaxing as well. We would like to visit again.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. We were traveling with our 1-year-old, and trips are usually challenging due to nap times and baby food, but everything was provided here. There were plenty of things to enjoy without going out—such as the pool, the large public bath, and a kids’ buffet within the Hotel—so we were able to relax very comfortably.

I’d love to stay again and recommend it to others. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. We were completely satisfied in every way. From the meals to the Facility, this is the No. 1 Hotel we have ever stayed at—especially for us traveling with our dog. It was the first time we had ever seen Momotaro (our dog) so relaxed. We believe this is thanks to the thorough cleaning by your staff after each stay. Usually, when we enter a new Hotel, Momotaro wanders around and gets irritated, but this time he was calm from the start. That made us feel very at ease, and we were able to leave him in our Room with peace of mind while enjoying a delicious meal and relaxing. Thank you very much. This is a wonderful Hotel that we would love to visit again.

I stayed here on a trip with my son, and it was truly wonderful! The reasons we chose this Hotel were: 1) The buffet 2) The baths 3) Renovation in 12/2025 4) Great value for the price There are many Hotels and Ryokan to choose from, but the selection of Kumamoto local cuisine here was excellent—and everything was delicious. They even had basashi (horse sashimi), basashi nigiri, tender Akaushi beef skewers, and tasty yamame (mountain trout) skewers. You can eat your fill with dishes like dago-jiru dumpling soup, Akaushi beef hayashi rice, simmered horse offal, and meals made with local vegetables. There were also tempura, sashimi, seafood rice bowls, soba noodles, and more. The desserts were also impressive—there were lots of strawberry sweets in season—and the quality was high. All-you-can-drink alcohol is available for an additional fee. I usually drink, but this time I skipped it because I didn’t want to miss out on the food—and I didn’t regret it at all. I’ve had buffets at many Hotels before, and this one ranks among the very best. I was so full that I couldn’t try the limited-time late-night tantanmen service, which was a shame. Breakfast was just as satisfying—I was completely stuffed from the morning. Personally, I loved the Akaushi beef bowl! At the live kitchen they sear thinly sliced roast-beef-style Akaushi beef for you. It was so tender that I went back for seconds. There are also two types of Kumamoto ramen, seafood rice bowls, Akaushi beef curry, takana rice… honestly there’s far too much to finish. So frustrating (in a good way). The Aso milk pudding, yogurt, and milk were delicious as well. Of course they also offer standard breakfast items (grilled fish, natto fermented soybeans، soft-boiled eggs، seasoned nori seaweed، miso soup، several kinds of bread، cereal، muffins، etc.). What surprised me in the bath area: the shower heads were ReFa brand—and even the hair dryers were ReFa! I’ve rarely seen a Hotel equipped entirely with ReFa products. Maybe Kamenoi Hotels do this? The Facilities felt as clean and well-appointed as an exclusive membership resort. There is also a sauna area; dry sauna and mist sauna are available on a rotating basis. Since it’s after renovation，the building is very clean，and overall it was so good that I can’t fit everything into one Review. It offers excellent value，with beautiful Aso views—highly recommended! I’m glad we didn’t choose one of those expensive Accommodations around nearby Kurokawa Onsen instead. This is a Hotel that makes me want to come back again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

About 20 years ago, I visited Hawaiians with my mother-in-law and my sons, and this time I was able to travel there with my 5-year-old grandchild. I had my sons watch the movie “Hula Girls,” so everyone was truly moved by the show. The Hotel arranged connecting rooms for us, and we really enjoyed our time together as a family. The food was delicious with a great variety, and we enjoyed both the pool and the Onsen for two days—“Hawaii without getting on a plane” was simply wonderful. My grandchild keeps asking to go again once they’re tall enough to ride the slides. We’ll be back again. Thank you very much.

The room was spacious, conveniently close to the station, and overall great. The breakfast was truly delicious. I would love to stay here again next time.

We stayed in two Rooms for a family trip to visit Hikone Castle. Both were beautifully renovated and spotless, but the Room with the view bath was especially clean, spacious, bright, and truly relaxing. The four of us enjoyed spending time together, chatting and eating sweets we bought at Club Harie. Not only were the Room itself and the view of Lake Biwa from the Room wonderful, but breakfast and dinner were also delicious. After a leisurely meal, we tried the late-night “yonaki soba,” which was a monthly tantanmen special—and it was excellent. We all enjoyed it together after soaking in the Onsen. All Hotel staff were kind; when we were sitting in the lobby, they spoke to us and even took a family photo for us. The photo of our family of four with Hikonyan in the background became a great memory of our trip. The next morning, we were taken to the station by the Hotel shuttle bus, making our stay completely satisfying. This is an Accommodation I would recommend to many people.
