This was our second stay at Kamenoi Hotel Izu Kogen, and once again we stayed in the Premium Terrace Twin Room with an open-air bath, just like last time. The drink corner had an expanded selection, including alcoholic beverages that weren’t available before, along with cheesecake and nuts, which we really enjoyed.

I’d love to stay again and recommend it to others. Thank you.

To celebrate my 92-year-old mother’s birthday, we visited Kamenoi in Ome—still within Tokyo, but a place we don’t often go to and not too far from home. My mother is very particular about food, and she was extremely satisfied with the meals (when I mentioned that she doesn’t like meat, they kindly changed part of the menu for her), for which we are truly grateful. The staff were all pleasant and welcoming, and at the restaurant a kind male staff member was especially thoughtful—speaking gently to my mother and discreetly bringing water for her medication. We would definitely like to visit again with friends. Since our goal was simply to relax, it was perfect for us.

Perhaps it was thanks to my continued efforts—such as accompanying my husband on his business trips—to remain a Diamond member. I often see Reviews saying, “They upgraded our Room,” but this time they prepared an unbelievable Room for us, and I was moved throughout the entire stay. The view from the Room was simply spectacular: by day, a sweeping ocean view complemented by the greens of the golf course; by night, a sky full of stars and scenery so captivating I never tired of it—I was truly amazed. In the end, we only went between our Room, Tsukuyomi, the dining venues, and the lounge (just to see all the staff’s smiles), yet we still felt we fully enjoyed Seagaia. We’ve only just returned home, but we’re already looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for such wonderful memories.

This was my first time staying at a Hotel with my dog, and I was very satisfied with how dog-friendly it was. The meals were delicious to me, and the Room was clean, so I had a wonderful holiday. If I have any friends going to Lake Yamanaka, I would definitely recommend it. Thank you very much!

The breakfast offered a variety of options, enjoyable for three generations, and was very delicious. Since I use a cane, I was cautious about the steps in the Room's bathroom and the stairs at the back entrance from the parking lot, but everything else including the front desk, elevator, and Room was comfortable. I would love to stay here again.

The walking trails around the Hotel are wonderful. The forests at the foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains and the sound of wind through the bamboo grass were very soothing. The starry sky at night was truly beautiful. We enjoyed a relaxed dinner in the main dining room, and had a hearty breakfast as well. It’s not an Onsen, but the Room bath faces the woods and was lovely. It’s a classic Hotel, and we had a great holiday.

This was our first stay, and we visited with three dogs and four family members. The staff were courteous and left a great impression! Near the entrance and by the dog run, there were poop bags, towels for wiping paws, and other essentials. The indoor dog run on the second floor had dog diapers/belly bands available, and each floor was stocked with pee pads—so it was so well equipped that we hardly needed to bring anything for our dogs. The food was delicious, and the pudding at the breakfast buffet was especially outstanding. There were both indoor baths and an open-air bath; the temperature was just right, and areas like the changing room were kept very clean. We’d love to stay again.

We stayed in a 10-tatami Japanese-style Room, and it was very spacious and clean. The staff were also very kind, which made our stay pleasant. The meals were delicious and we were very satisfied. Our dog was able to relax and seemed happy as well. Unfortunately it rained, but the Hotel has an indoor dog run, so we felt at ease. We would definitely like to stay again.

Since April 14 was our Shiba Inu’s birthday, you kindly prepared an unexpected birthday gift, a cake, and more. We were both delighted and truly grateful for your thoughtful hospitality. Unfortunately, it rained and we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful scenery, but we were able to let our dog play in the indoor dog run. Also, because of the rain we arrived much earlier than the check-in time, yet you welcomed us warmly and kindly, which was a great help. We would love to visit again on a sunny day and use the outdoor dog run. The Facility was also very clean, and we had a comfortable stay.

We stayed in the Lanai Suite. Although it felt a bit dated due to its age, the Room was well cleaned and had a calm, clean atmosphere. As the Hotel closest to the pool, getting around was very easy, which was especially helpful with small children. Our child was thrilled. The food was delicious as well, and we were able to fully enjoy Hawaiians. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again.

The food was delicious. We were traveling with our 2-year-old child, and we really appreciated the staff’s thoughtful care. The drink bar on the first floor was also great. Our child kept asking for more orange juice, and we were happy to be able to refill it several times. The late-night ramen was also very tasty. My wife said she’d like to come again, so we’d love to stay here again when we visit Iwate.

As expected from a Hotel specialized for dogs, everyone was very kind to them. It was unfortunate that the private dog run couldn't be used due to the rain. The bath was spacious and comfortable, but it was disappointing that there was no drinking water in the changing rooms of both the men's and women's baths. Both the evening kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious. I would love to visit again. The woman at the front desk was extremely kind—thank you!

Inspired by the spring cherry blossoms, we planned our route to combine sightseeing with a “pilgrimage” to locations related to the Taiga drama “Hideyoshi Brothers,” including its exhibition hall. We stayed one night in Nara City after visiting Kofuku-ji and Todai-ji. The next day, we headed from Nara and the ruins of Yamato-Koriyama Castle to Shiga via the drama exhibition hall. After sightseeing at Hyakusaiji Temple, Tennei-ji Temple, and Hikone Castle’s Castle Road, we arrived at Kamenoi Hotel Hikone. We had requested dinner for 19:15 in advance. Since we arrived around 17:00, we were able to unpack first and then relax in the Onsen before dinner. There was a dinner menu at our table, and starting with the main Omi beef sukiyaki, many Shiga-produced ingredients and seasonings were used throughout. We truly felt the Hotel’s sincere commitment to “local production for local consumption.” The meal was essentially kaiseki-style cuisine, and my wife praised it as “very delicious.” I completely agreed. There was also a menu at breakfast, and the Hotel’s commitment to local sourcing never wavered—both of us were extremely satisfied with the flavors. My wife turned in early, so I enjoyed the late-night ramen on my own; the black tantan noodles were also excellent. This was our first stay at a Kamenoi Hotel—after previously making a Reservation in Beppu but being unable to stay due to illness—and it turned out to be a wonderful experience where we could feel just a touch of Kumahachi Aburaya’s spirit. The following day brought strong winds and boats from nearby Hikone Port to Chikubu Island were canceled; however, we still managed an enriching trip that covered everything from Nagahama Kita-Omi Taiga Drama Exhibition Hall to Daitsuu-ji Temple, Nagahama Castle Historical Museum, and Gi-to-Kizuna-kan (Righteousness & Bonds Museum). As a base on Lake Biwa’s eastern shore area (Koto), Kamenoi Hotel is wholeheartedly recommended.

About 20 years ago, I visited Hawaiians with my mother-in-law and my sons, and this time I was able to travel there with my 5-year-old grandchild. I had my sons watch the movie “Hula Girls,” so everyone was truly moved by the show. The Hotel arranged connecting rooms for us, and we really enjoyed our time together as a family. The food was delicious with a great variety, and we enjoyed both the pool and the Onsen for two days—“Hawaii without getting on a plane” was simply wonderful. My grandchild keeps asking to go again once they’re tall enough to ride the slides. We’ll be back again. Thank you very much.

This was our first stay with our beloved dog. From the Facilities to the staff service, it was a very comfortable Hotel. Since many guests were also traveling with dogs, everyone was understanding, and we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. We would love to stay at another Wanwan Paradise Hotel in a different location as well.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. We were traveling with our 1-year-old, and trips are usually challenging due to nap times and baby food, but everything was provided here. There were plenty of things to enjoy without going out—such as the pool, the large public bath, and a kids’ buffet within the Hotel—so we were able to relax very comfortably.

The room was spacious, conveniently close to the station, and overall great. The breakfast was truly delicious. I would love to stay here again next time.

It was a very clean and nice Hotel. There are only a few shower stalls in the bath area, so we had to wait in line when it was crowded. It may be better to go at off-peak times. The food was very delicious, and breakfast in particular was high quality and excellent. At night, the sound of the waves hitting the rocks can feel like a storm, but once I fell asleep it didn’t bother me. There were futons and beds; the futon mattress was firm and very comfortable. The staff were always smiling and very kind. We also received Shuttle Service to the station, and we were completely satisfied.

This was my first stay, and I was truly impressed by what a wonderful Hotel it is! The building itself may be older, but it is beautifully maintained, and I had a very comfortable stay. The meals were absolutely delicious, and I could really feel the care put into each dish. The staff were excellent, the Onsen was very relaxing, and my trip with my mother became a truly special experience. I sincerely appreciate the effort to provide such high quality at a reasonable price. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much!
