After staying at Hoshino Resorts in Hokkaido, we looked for a place near the Kanto area that we could reach by train and found this one. Inside the building, there are authentic bouldering activities and keychain making (free of charge). Although it’s pricey, there are also outdoor athletic courses and sweets-making activities—making it a fantastic place to visit with children. We’d love to try other Facilities around the whole country as well.

From check-in to check-out, everything was as comfortable and relaxing as being at home. I would love to stay here again next time.

We stayed in a main cottage scattered throughout the forest. The room interior was tasteful and relaxing. The buffet was delicious with just the right variety; there were many families with children, so it was lively. The staff were warm and attentive in a comfortable way. Small lights dotted the open-air bath facing the woods, and it was beautiful. We were happy to find chilled water in the room refrigerator. We came via Kuroiso-Itamuro IC, but it was hard to find and the scenery felt sparse, so we recommend coming via Nasu IC.

I was able to relax. There were various events, and I was able to enjoy myself within the Hotel. I will visit again.

This was a Hotel I’d been wanting to visit someday for a long time. When we finally stayed, it was very family-friendly, and the food was excellent. Even though it was a cold season, we were able to enjoy the pool, so our children were thrilled to experience both winter skiing and swimming. This time we didn’t have enough time to try the Mokumoku Bath, so we’d like to do that next time. We had such a great time that we even made another Reservation for six months later. We’re looking forward to our next stay. Thank you!

I visited once before and this time I brought my elderly parents. It turned out to be a very satisfying stay. You can fully enjoy the charm of Okinawa's remote islands with the sea, pool, and various activities. The staff are all highly professional, kind, and attentive. I can confidently recommend this place as a safe and enjoyable destination. On a minor note, I noticed a few things: "small insects like ants in the room," "the restaurant menu remains the same despite being a place for multiple night stays," and "the website for reservations and meal bookings is not user-friendly." Even with these points, it is still a highly satisfying stay. If you don't mind the journey involving a plane, bus, and ferry, I highly recommend visiting at least once.

It was a wonderful Accommodation that truly made me glad I stayed. 1. Room & Amenities I was informed in advance that there are several steps inside the Room to enjoy the view, so it didn’t cause any issues. The Room was very clean and stylish. I was impressed that the hair dryer was a ReFa. 2. Service The service was polite and attentive. I had no problems and could stay comfortably throughout. Above all, being able to borrow child-related items was extremely helpful. 3. Onsen This is the bath in the Room, and I liked that the tub had a backrest style you can lean against. It was spacious and clean, with no complaints. 4. Facility Everything was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I expected long waits since it seemed fully booked and there were only three elevators, but perhaps because they were fast, I didn’t feel any stress—impressive. *Just one note:* Regarding the buttons for floors on the opposite side of one elevator entrance: even after getting in and pressing my floor/Room number, an announcement repeatedly played saying it would not stop on that floor... I thought it might require tapping a key card like at some hotels, but there was no reader on that side (there was one on the entrance side), and when it was crowded I couldn’t reach it anyway... While confused, I noticed a sign saying those buttons are for staff only. Of course this is my mistake for not noticing sooner—I’m not complaining—but I would have appreciated clearer signage. 5. Dining We used the buffet. Honestly, it isn’t cheap. However, with so many options including various fugu dishes, I understood why it costs more. The food tasted excellent—far more satisfying than typical Hotel buffets—and we were very happy with it. The seating area is spacious and fine for families with children as well. That said, since it’s not inexpensive at all, you may want to decide based on your group size and what you value (there are family restaurants nearby), whether price or quality matters more to you). If you’re unsure but choose to try it anyway, I don’t think you’ll regret it. 6. Overall We were extremely satisfied overall. Since everything is new, it’s clean and well maintained throughout. It rained so we couldn’t enjoy the view as much as we hoped, but our stay was very relaxing nonetheless. Families with children can stay here with peace of mind (in fact most guests seemed to be families). There’s also an aquarium nearby as well as Karato Market, so you can enjoy yourself before or after your stay too."""

We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days! Since we used the limousine bus for airport transfers, we didn’t rent a car and only went out once to Zakimi Castle Ruins, spending most of our time enjoying the facility. There were many free activities, and even the paid activities requiring reservations offered unique Okinawan experiences, making it fun to choose from. We reserved dining twice, and they changed the menu each time—both meals were visually stunning and delicious. However, as portions were quite large, having a short course option would be even better. From the day we arrived, we strolled through the garden and beach daily, enjoying changes in the sea and sky over time as well as flowers in bloom, birdsong, insect sounds—all of which allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in nature. Spending time both in our room and within the facility was equally enjoyable. Additionally, interactions with other guests added warmth to our trip—exchanging greetings with fellow guests in the garden or chatting with travelers from Taiwan on our bus ride about past visits or future plans at Hoshinoya resorts made for memorable moments. It was also convenient that after booking here using a Reservation Number on their official website login system allowed us to arrange meals or activities online beforehand!

I stayed for 2 nights this time. When the room door is fully open, the garden and the room become one, creating an incredibly comfortable atmosphere. Relaxing on Ryukyu tatami while feeling the natural breeze was absolutely wonderful. The meals were à la carte and reasonably priced, allowing adjustments based on your appetite for the day, which was great. The staff's service was excellent, and I strongly felt that everyone genuinely wanted to make the hotel better. You can experience all of Taketomi's charm at this hotel, so honestly, I felt no need to go out into the village. I will visit again!
