We stayed with our dog. The amenities were excellent and there were no issues.The Room was spotless and well maintained, and we loved being able to use the private bath many times—it was fantastic. We had breakfast only; the food was delicious and stylish, but it was a bit disappointing that things were cleared away quickly while we were still eating, which made us feel rushed. There was an Onsen pool, but it was too cold to go in, so we’d like to come back when it’s warmer. We had a great time at a reasonable price.

I found this Onsen Accommodation while looking for a dog-friendly place to stay near the Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival venue. Thanks to being allowed to park from 1:00 PM before check-in, we were able to enjoy the festival without struggling to find parking. It’s within an easy walking distance.The dog-friendly Rooms are in a separate area from the main building, in cottage-like units with their own independent entrances. The interior was clean, and amenities were well provided for both people and dogs. Our dog is sensitive to other dogs’ smells and can have trouble settling down depending on the place, but everything here was thoroughly cleaned, so we felt completely at ease.Right behind the building is an open-air bath you can use as often as you like whenever it’s available—24 hours a day! And since the hot spring water gushes up on-site, it’s free-flowing with a nice high temperature that really delivers an authentic Onsen experience.We also enjoyed the stone sauna together (mixed-gender), and it was great for a proper detox.Dinner was French cuisine and breakfast was Japanese-style; both had many dishes and were delicious. The service timing was perfect, and everyone was truly warm and hospitable.If I had one request, it would be even better if the stone sauna had background music, manga, or a space where you could lie down—then I’d happily stay longer.Overall, this ranks among the best dog-friendly Accommodations we’ve stayed at—and especially for the Onsen, it’s number one! The Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual tradition for our family, so we’ll definitely be back next year!
