Villa Parco Yamanakako

We chose Villa Parco for a family stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary and our daughter’s birthday, and visited on a weekend in late November.It is a cottage-style Accommodation attached to the owner’s restaurant.The garden that first catches your eye is truly lovely, a space where you can feel close to nature. The Room was spacious and spotless, with high-quality interiors and furnishings. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt uplifted, and we were able to spend the rest of our time there in great comfort.What left the strongest impression was the coffee prepared in the Room. With beans provided in advance, we used the coffee maker to grind fresh beans and brew cup after cup. The rich aroma filling the Room and the deep flavor were outstanding. Even though our stay was short, it was so delicious that we found ourselves enjoying several cups—it became one of the most memorable coffee experiences we’ve ever had.This time, our schedule was fairly tight: on day one we went to Shizuoka for hamburg steaks at “Sawayaka,” chose a birthday present at an outlet mall, and on day two headed out early for our son’s school festival (he lives away from home).Because we couldn’t predict our timing on the first night, we ate at a restaurant elsewhere; next time, however, we would love to take our time savoring the owner’s cooking at the on-site restaurant.For that reason, it’s truly regrettable that we couldn’t fully enjoy all of this wonderful, comfortable space and its Facility.One unforgettable part of this stay for me was chatting with the owner when we met for the first time. From our phone call before arrival onward, they were consistently courteous and kind, which made us feel warmly welcomed even before getting there. Our conversation when greeting them that evening was also delightful, allowing us to relax throughout our stay. We are sincerely grateful that we could spend such important milestones—our anniversary and our daughter’s special occasion—surrounded by a lovely Accommodation and heartfelt hospitality.Next time I’d love to relax with another cup of delicious coffee out on the deck or in the garden while fully taking in both the scenery and this comfortable space. Of course, I’m also looking forward to having another chat with the owner. We would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed here on the last day of our Obon holiday trip. It was our first time, but the owner, who lives nearby, kindly guided us, making us feel very comfortable and secure. This time, we brought our own ingredients and enjoyed a BBQ dinner on the terrace. Both the terrace and the Room's atmosphere were lovely and cozy, leading our family to stay up late together. We were unaware beforehand and apologize for not knowing earlier, but there is an established Italian restaurant attached to this property. We would love to try dinner there next time!
