Yatsugatake Kiyosato Highland Seisenryo Hotel & Cottages

Following last year’s Golden Week, I visited Seisenryo again. This time I stayed in a maisonette room; the bedroom, washbasin, and bathroom were on the second floor, so I felt comfortable and at ease. Both dinner and breakfast buffets were delicious—especially the wide variety of fresh vegetables—and the desserts were plentiful as well, which was very satisfying. The staff were kind, making it a very welcoming Accommodation.

As it was the main building, it did feel a bit old, but it was well cleaned and comfortable.However, perhaps because the walls are thin, we could hear the children in the next Room shouting and running around, which was a bit disappointing.The large public bath was spacious, and when I went in there happened to be no one else, so I could relax as if it were private. My hair also felt silky smooth after using the ReFa hair dryer.The meals were great too—the vegetables were especially delicious. The desserts were also excellent; the milk pudding and gateau chocolate were particularly good.Next time, I’d like to stay in a Room with a fireplace.
