Hotel Ichinose

Stayed for one night during a once-in-a-decade cold wave. Although the parking lot was far and I was guided through the blizzard by an unfriendly staff member, which dampened my mood, the room was impeccably clean and left a good impression. However, the heater's temperature control was difficult to manage, causing me to wake up several times during the night due to fluctuating temperatures. The stay included dinner and breakfast, both of which were as varied and delicious as those at a first-class hotel—absolutely satisfying. The rental ski staff were kind and thorough in teaching how to wear boots properly, leaving a positive impression. Being just a 30-second walk from the ski slopes added to the enjoyment of my stay. The bath area was also well-maintained and helped warm me up after skiing in freezing weather. The omelet rice at lunch in the restaurant was delicious (the shrimp fry was large and tasty too). Despite facing terrible weather with extreme cold and blizzards, it turned out to be an unexpectedly great experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. I look forward to staying again next year!

I stayed at the accommodation over the weekend. With two elevators available, there was no inconvenience in moving between guest rooms, the bath, and dining areas, which was excellent. The bath was spacious and very satisfying. The only inconvenience was that the parking lot was far away and required shuttle service, but the staff responded promptly, which made me satisfied. As for meals, it was an all-buffet style; while I understand this might be due to staff convenience, there were few warm dishes available, which was a bit disappointing. The slopes are also nearby, making it a great accommodation for young people.
