Genbi no Yado Aizuya

The purpose of this trip was to enjoy an Onsen and delicious meals.After searching extensively for an Accommodation where we could fully enjoy both, this Facility caught our eye.The Onsen was excellent!Dinner and breakfast were excellent!On top of that, the staff’s service was excellent!Overall, it was an Accommodation that made us want to stay again.

We stayed here after skiing at Hunter Mountain Shiobara. This was our third visit. The food and the Onsen are excellent—simply the best. This time I came with my sons after skiing, and it took about 30 minutes from the ski resort.Since my wife doesn’t ski, she checked in first after taking a walk around Shiobara—enjoying the footbath at Yuppo-no-Yu, visiting a suspension bridge, and having a meal. So when we arrived, we went straight to our Room, changed quickly, and headed right to the Onsen. It was very relaxing and helped relieve our fatigue.After that we had dinner—delicious, generous portions, and we were completely satisfied. My grandchild said the beef you grill yourself was incredibly tasty. I enjoyed warmed local sake paired with the dishes—it was wonderful.The next morning I used the open-air bath that becomes private at night, which felt great. Breakfast was also plentiful and delicious—we were full and very satisfied again. Since you can use the baths until check-out, we went in once more before heading home.The Facility and Rooms may feel a bit old-fashioned, but considering the value for money as well, we were very satisfied.
