Farm Inn

This was our first 1-night, 2-day stay at a dog-friendly Accommodation, with 4 adults and three Chihuahuas. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The owner was very kind and explained almost everything about the Facility in detail. It was a very courteous introduction.The first-floor area is dog-friendly, and since it was a cold season there was a kotatsu. It was adorable to see our dogs leaning against it looking so warm.For the farm harvest experience, we picked Iwatsu green onions, broccoli, takana (mustard greens), daikon radish, and bok choy. We made pickles with the takana as the owner recommended.At night we had an irori hearth BBQ using a lava plate and binchotan charcoal. The Iwatsu green onions were sweet and delicious! The owner also told us bok choy is tasty stir-fried with pork, so we cooked it that way—and it was sweet and delicious too! We separated the Iwatsu green onions into what we would eat there and what we would take home.It got quite cold at night, but warming up in the bath helped a lot!! One Room immediately to the right after entering didn’t have air conditioning, and since the hallway floor was wood it felt too cold to walk barefoot (lol). Socks are essential this time of year.That Room had lots of board games, a hammock, a trampoline, exercise equipment, and even a telescope! There was so much that one night wasn’t enough—we wished we could stay for about 2 nights/3 days. Next time we’d like to visit in a warmer season!Finally—just one concern: because our dog is small breed size, she could slip through parts of the fence in the dog run area, which made us worry because it connects quickly to the road. Other than that everything was great; our dogs relaxed as if they were at home and we were very satisfied! The owner also saw us off at the end. It was a wonderful Accommodation—thank you very much!!

This was my first time staying at this accommodation. I had so much fun with various activities like harvesting vegetables, bringing my pet along, and enjoying flowing somen noodles. However, there are still many things I want to try, such as smoking food and playing card games, so next time I’d like to plan a Multiple Night Stay. Reservations are fully booked far in advance, but I’ll plan early and make a reservation!
