Smile Hotel Tokyo Shinkoiwa (Formerly: Shinkoiwa Park Hotel)

I made a Reservation for a single Room, but on the same day I was upgraded to a double Room with a sofa. I was very happy with the Hotel staff’s kindness. Although it was only for one night, I had a very comfortable stay. When I stay in Tokyo again, I would definitely like to stay at Smile Hotel again.

There are plenty of places nearby—Sukiya, convenience stores, Korean-style hot dogs, ramen shops, and lots more—so it’s fun and highly recommended. However, the biggest advantage of this Hotel is that the family restaurant Jonathan’s is connected by a single door. In the morning, just pop thick-sliced bread into the toaster for toast. Add sweet red bean paste and margarine for a Nagoya-style breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, hamburg steak, hash browns, coffee, juice—even green juice! Pancakes and yogurt too—anything you want! Enjoy a buffet breakfast right at your table in the family restaurant. It’s a great way to start the day.The bed has a Simmons mattress that doesn’t sink too much, making for a comfortable night’s sleep. Even though it’s a compact single room, it’s perfect for one person. The space is just right—quick to warm up in winter and quick to cool down in summer.In Shin-Koiwa, once you go through the underpass you’re at the station-front rotary. Shin-Koiwa is such a nice area—Edogawa City is the best! See you again!
