Onoda Central Hotel

I booked based on affordability and location without high expectations. When I mentioned during the reservation process that I wanted an early morning departure, they kindly accommodated my request. Upon arrival at the hotel, there was a welcome drink, and for the first time, I saw a hotel offering sake such as "Taka" and "Tenbi," which are famous in Yamaguchi Prefecture—highly recommended. The amenities were well-stocked, which excited my daughter as we chose from them.The front desk staff provided very courteous service. While the room was old, it was thoroughly cleaned, allowing us to have a very comfortable stay. Although I went without high expectations, I was extremely satisfied and would love to stay again if given the opportunity.

Despite being the weekend, the price is very reasonable. The amenities, such as the shampoo bar and pillows with different textures, were excellent, as was the service from the front desk staff. The complimentary breakfast was also perfect. Although I didn’t use it myself, there’s an electric blanket rental service available, and it’s great that you can pick up these items at your convenience without having to ask at the front desk. There’s even a free bicycle rental service, which made shopping trips much easier—outstanding service overall! Disappointing points: The Room was slightly dim, making makeup application difficult; the clock on the bed was broken; and most concerningly, there was mold on both the shower curtain and ceiling. Since I stayed in November (not summer), this might simply indicate insufficient cleaning... Also, there is no public bath available—I hope this can be improved in future stays.There’s a drugstore right in front of you and supermarkets/restaurants nearby. Parking is conveniently located right in front of the Hotel. While there isn’t a convenience store nearby, snacks and instant noodles are available for purchase from vending machines on the first floor. With two elevators that arrive quickly, everything felt stress-free.It was quiet at night so I could sleep soundly.In terms of cost performance within Onoda's Hotel options, this one seemed to be number one!
