We stayed here for a three-generation family trip.The open-air hot spring bath with free-flowing source water had a wonderful atmosphere, and the large public bath was not crowded, so we could relax. Since my mother is not comfortable with large public baths, I was glad we could make a Reservation for a Room with a private bath. The all-inclusive plan was great—we could enjoy beer and coffee whenever we wanted. Dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, so it was easy to choose whatever we liked. The all-you-can-drink option was included as well, which is perfect for those who enjoy alcohol. I had a quiet stay, but depending on the Room, some guests may notice noise such as footsteps from other rooms. As this is a historic Facility, that may be unavoidable. All of the staff were pleasant and welcoming. There was also a corner where children could buy small snacks, which made our child very happy.

The hot spring water was truly outstanding—the in-room indoor bath in the Room was free-flowing from the source. Having it all to myself throughout my stay felt like a luxury, and the faint sulfur scent lifted my mood. The stone bathtub had a charming retro feel, and with windows on two sides that open, it felt wonderfully airy. I loved the sound of the Onsen water pouring in and enjoyed the overflow. With the windows open, I could hear the river flowing and birds singing—it was so relaxing. I had experienced the outdoor bath decades ago, so this time I enjoyed only the in-room bath—and it was more than enough. I’m completely satisfied. The Room was almost too spacious. Full of Showa-era retro charm, very clean, and I appreciated that it’s one of the few smoking-allowed Rooms—great for smokers like me. I had assumed meals would be buffet-only and lowered my expectations, but there were many options and everything was delicious. Great value for money—I’d like to make this my regular Accommodation. Above all, the Onsen water is excellent, so I recommend choosing a Room with an indoor bath. Thank you very much.
