Odate Pokapoka Onsen Hotel

It’s a 15-minute walk from Odate Station, even at a relaxed pace. I checked in late at night, but the woman at the front desk was extremely courteous. Thank you.My Reservation was for a Japanese-style Room. How should I put it? Everything was thoughtfully done.When I entered the Room, it had tile carpet flooring. The bathroom area was compact, and the toilet felt very clean. There was also an air purifier.The amenities were much appreciated as a guest. I was surprised they provided tabi socks—and they were very comfortable. There was also coffee service, and highballs were priced like at a convenience store.Maybe they’re meant for ice? There were plastic bags available. I took two or three and used them to organize my luggage—they were just the right size for sorting worn clothes.The bath shows its age, but it seems the faucets have been renewed.I prefer lukewarm water, so I soaked slowly in the tub by staying a little away from the outlet.Next time, I’d like to visit again in summer.I’ve given lots of praise here. With fuel costs rising I can’t ask for too much, but if you can keep this price for this Facility, I would truly appreciate it. Thank you for taking care of me—thank you very much.

Although it is a bit far from the station, the Onsen was excellent. The Room was a Japanese-style room but very clean and more comfortable than an ordinary Onsen Ryokan.
