Sauna & Hotel Midori-kan

The facilities were very clean. Since I came mainly for the baths, it was great that towels were provided and a full set was prepared in a basket inside the locker so I could carry it with me. Also, each time I received a locker key to enter, I could use a fresh new set, which meant I could always use clean items.There are separate relaxation rooms for men and women, and you can move between the changing area and the baths inside; as a woman, it felt like a private space, which I appreciated. I didn’t use the hot stone sauna this time, but there is a women-only option, so I’d like to try it next time.The bath water was excellent. We chose the plan with dinner included and it was delicious. They also serve alcohol, so we could relax. Breakfast had a nice variety as well.For those who plan to bathe multiple times, adding meals is very good value for money. I’d like to keep using this place in the future.

I stayed here as a solo female traveler.I’ve traveled to many places such as Tokyo, Fukuoka, Shizuoka, Hokkaido, Hong Kong, and Malaysia, but lately—perhaps due to rising prices—I’ve often felt that the quality of Hotels has become a bit disappointing.This Accommodation has an old-fashioned building with a sense of history, but it was extremely well cleaned, and I didn’t feel any discomfort at all from dust or slimy residue. The air conditioner was also clean, so I felt safe and comfortable. At first I was a little surprised by the atmosphere and felt nervous, but you get used to it quickly.I chose a meal-included Plan, and the food exceeded the price—I was very satisfied.As I stayed longer, I found myself soothed by the quietness and comfort of the entire Accommodation. It really made me understand what it means to truly relax while staying somewhere. Most guests seemed to be Japanese, creating a calm atmosphere. In the end it was so comfortable that I extended my stay for one more night.The only minor points were that the stone sauna had a slightly old smell, and the facial cleanser in the women’s bath had quite a strong fragrance.Given the location, it feels like there are many male business travelers staying here, but overall it was an extremely satisfying stay.I would definitely like to stay again.
