Shisuien

We stayed as a family of three adults. We were picked up from Matsumoto Station and dropped off at Shinshimashima Station the next day. The room was clean, and the meals were very delicious. The staff at the accommodation were very kind, which we greatly appreciated.

Stayed on a budget, no-meals Plan.There’s nothing around, and it’s about a 5-minute drive to the nearest supermarket or restaurants. As long as you’re aware of this before staying, it’s not an issue.The building feels like it may have originally been a company retreat. The Room is Japanese-style, but spacious and clean with no worn-out feel. The lobby is quite impressive. The bath is separate from the accommodation building and requires a fairly long walk. It also serves as a day-use bathing Facility, so some guests may find that bothersome. The bath Facility itself doesn’t have anything special—though that was fine for me.All staff were kind. Even the kitchen and serving staff greeted me pleasantly when we passed in the hallway. For this type of Accommodation, I felt the training was thorough and the service level was high.
